Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) conduct BITSAT Entrance Examination every year for the admission in various graduates & integrated course offered by Top Engineering Colleges under BITSAT i.e: BITS Pilani, BITS Hyderabad, BITS Goa. This post includes BITSAT Syllabus foe Engineering including all necessary Eligibility Criteria that an appearing students must fulfill to get admission in various Engineering Courses offered by BITS.

BITSAT Syllabus for Engineering and Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for regular students:

BITSAT

  • For the admission in Engineering Colleges under BITSAT, students should pass class 12th examination from a recognized state or central board of education with physics, Chemistry and Math as compulsory subject.
  •  Student must obtain a minimum of aggregate of 75% in Physics, Chemistry and Maths (Class 12th) and at least 60% marks in each of the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects with an adequate proficiency in English subject.
  • A student can attempt BITSAT Examination twice after Class 12.

NOTE:

  1. If a candidate has attempt class 12th examination more than one then his/her latest performance is considered.
  2. Admissions to various courses will be made on the basis of respective year BITSAT Merit.

Eligibility Criteria for Direct Admission to Board Toppers:

First ranker of sate or central board of education for the respective year will offered direct admission to the course of their choice.

BITSAT Syllabus foe Engineering 

The BITSAT Engineering Entrance Exam will be conducted on the basis of NCERT syllabus of Class 11th and Class 12th for admission in various graduation courses offered by the institute. Students preparing for BITSAT can refer NCERT textbooks to get the details of the syllabus content Candidates may refer to the NCERT textbooks for the contents. The detailed syllabus is explained in the following section.
