Under the re-organization of Madhya Pradesh, the State of Chattisgarh came into existence on 1st November 2000 and Chhattisgarh Public Service Commission was formed under the provision of Act 315 of the Constitution of India on 23rd May 2001.

PSCA or  Public Service Commission of Chhattisgarh is the state agency authorized to conduct the Civil Services Examination for entry-level appointments to the various Civil Services of state of Chhattisgarh   in India.

The Head Office of the Chhattisgarh PSC is Raipur (Chhattisgarh).

Work  and functions of CGPSC :-

One of the primary functions of the Commission is to select the best suitable candidates for various Government Posts in State Chhattisgarh , in India.

The main function of the Assam State Public Service Commission APSC to conduct written competitive examination and also the interviews for the selections of the candidates for any government posts in the state of  Chhattisgarh.

How To prepare CGPSC EXAM –

Examinations. The  Chhattisgarh  Public Service Commission Board will conduct the Following rounds  …

  • Preliminary Exam (Objective Type).
  • Mains Exam (Descriptive Type).
  • Personal Interview.

Preliminary part  have total 6 portion  General awareness , CG Gk , general science, mathematics,reasoning and Computer knowledge .First you want to know about your state in detail  like schemes, new rule , and some static and facts.

When we talk about mathematics, I will say in just one quote ” Practice is Maths , Maths is practice “.Practice, Practice & More Practice It is impossible to study maths  by just reading and listening. To study maths you have to sit on your study table and actually solve some problems.  The more you practice answering maths problems, the better you become.

General science It can be divided into four parts—Science and Technology, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.The basic understanding of science, especially a thorough understanding of NCERT books, can solve most of the questions. Ignoring this area can be suicidal for any candidate.

Computer Knowledge :-The computer related questions are not very complicated. They are usually basic terms, abbreviations or questions on the functional aspects of a computer.

CGPSC  EXAM Eligibility Criteria:- 

Nationality :  The Candidate must be an Indian citizen.

Age Limit :Candidate should not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years.Provided that for candidates domicile/permanent residents of State of Chhattisgarh, the maximum age shall be extended to 35 years.(ST/SC/PH)

Educational Qualification:
Candidates should possess graduate degree in any field from any of the University incorporated by an Act of the Central or State.
