Democracy in India Good or Bad
INDIA IS THE LARGEST DEMOCRATIC NATION IN THE WORLD.DEMOCRACY IS CONSIDERED TO BE THE IDEAL FORM OF GOVT. DEMOCRACY IN INDIA MEANS –OF THE PEOPLE BY THE PEOPLE AND FOR THE PEOPLE.
AFTER 65 YEARS OF INDEPENDENCE AND 62 YEARS OF DEMOCRATIC GOVERNMENT AND LOOKING AT THE PRESENT CONDITION OF INDIA IN MY VIEW UP TILL NOW IT HAS NOT BEEN A SUCCESS IN INDIA.THERE ARE NO USE OF FUNDAMENTAL RIGHTS AND NO SIGN OF EQUALITY.DEMOCRACY MEANS FREEDOM OF SPEECH ,FREEDOM OF THOUGHT AND FREEDOM OF ACT.THEIR IS NO SIGN OF ANY TYPE OF FREEDOM RATHER OUR MASS IS STRUGGLING FOR BREAD AND FEW ARE SUPER LUXURIES.ALTHOUGH WE ENJOY EVERY RIGHT IN THEORY BUT NOT IN PRACTICE.ANALYSIS OF ELECTIONS SHOW THAT NOTORIOUS CANDIDATES WINS THE GAME.CRIMINALS AND LOOTERS OF GOVT.FUNDS BUY THE VOTES BY MONEY AND FORCE.ABLE AND EDUCATED PEOPLE DO NOT DARE TO BE A CANDIDATE.IN POWER THERE ARE MAJORITY OF HOODLUMS AND ROGUES.THE PROBLEMS OF POPULATION ,FOOD POVERTY,ILLITERACY AND HIGH PRICE RISE HAVE FALLEN BACK TO THE MASS.DEMOCRACY FILLED WITH PEOPLE WHO HAVE SUCH LUST FOR MONEY CAN NEVER BE A SUCCESS FOR THE NATION.WE CAN SITE THIS WITH AN EXAMPLE WHEN LATE Mrs. INDIRA GANDHI WAS LEFT WITH NO SOLUTION THAN TO DECLARE EMERGENCY TO GET RID OF THE STRIKES , LETHARGIC EMPLOYEES AND WORKERS,AND UNRULY LAW AND ORDER SITUATION .DURING EMERGENCY THE SITUATIONS GOT UNDER CONTROL OVERNIGHT. WE ARE STILL NOT ABLE TO REVIVE THE GRASS ROOT PROBLEMS.THE RICH IS BECOMING RICHER AND POOR POORER.WE CAN SHOW THIS BY TAKING A VERY RECENT EXAMPLE OF PAKISTANI SOLDIERS BEHEADING TWO INDIAN SOLDIERS AT THE LINE OF CONTROL .THE GOVT. HAVE KEPT THEIR MOUTH SHUT AFTER SUCH A SHAMEFUL ACT. VERY FEW FREEDOM FIGHTERS WILL PROUDLY EXCLAIM THAT THEIR STRUGGLE FOR INDEPENDENCE WERE WORTH IT.THERE IS A HUGE GAP BETWEEN PROMISE AND PERFORMANCE.
THE FAILURE OF DEMOCRACY CAN BE SIGHTED BY PRESENT DAY STANDARDS AND REGULAR STRIKES AND SURROUNDING OF PARLIAMENT BY THE SO CALLED NORMAL PEOPLE “AAM AADMI“.
Democracy in India is pillar of independent thought of Indians
THE FUTURE OF OUR DEMOCRACY WILL BE BRIGHT ONLY WHEN OUR PEOPLE POSSES NATIONAL CHARACTER AND RESPONSIBILITY.IT IS STILL CHILDHOOD YET THE HOPE FOR FUTURE IS BRIGHT.

though our country is democratic republic but democracy word meaning is not been generalised or known to everyone,where everyone in country has right of freedom den also due to right of speking or raising voice against something in india is being suppressed or people are thrown behind bars….we can see such examples in recent times…democracy doesnt mean to elect our own representatives but to be free in al what we do till the extent it doesnt harm our country or it is against the country….
its true that there are always issues with the democracy but comparing with non-democratic countries, there still seems a great hope for future.
Even if our country is trapped in the net of CORRUPTION, POVERTY and other evils, but even then we have the power of democracy and is far better than those countries where dictatorship is under the practice. though India is lacking what the democracy should be in the reality, But we can say that ” WE LIVE IN A COUNTRY WHICH IS HAVING THE POLICY OF DEMOCRACY.”
After dawn of independence India was facing many difficulties for their survival in almost every field either it was education,technology,living standard or politics becoz of this our leading political leaders was deciding to make it democratic country where every individual are equal and they have different rights to do things by their own but on contrary our nation was divided on basis of caste, culture n duties. The gap between poor and rich became high day by day and nation was start to facing enormous amount of problems and our own politician those who r promised to Indian citizen that they would try to run country in the path of success plays divide and rule game to the country which rises corruption in almost every area and becoz of all these reason our country who stand 2nd in case of population and 4th in case of agriculture till now a developing and backward country.
