Although most of engineering coaching are only meant to be for IIT JEE coaching and make students ready for IIT JEE and do not focus on other engineering college of which few examples are given above. India produces about 7,00,000 engineers from different streams every year and  from these lotof about 7,00,000 , IIT JEE has only about 12000 seats including all streams. 1. Quality of teacher: Although it sounds little vague but , I will not recommend all IITans coaching for students whose target is colleges apart from IIT. Many students engineering coaching whose target are not IIT JEE feel little alienated in coaching ceneters where focus is on IIT JEE because only tough questions are discussed their where as most of engineering colleges are focused on basics of Physics , Chem and Maths of class 11th and 12th.

2. Do not opt for school affiliated coaching: Coachings are needed to take second thought or view on subject , so we would not advice to read same subject from same teacher twice.
