The examination take place in two parts mainly :

Written Tests

Written Tests consists of five  papers each carries 200 marks. General Ability is the first Paper consisting of objective type questions from General English and General Studies which includes information of  Geography, contemporary events and Indian History . The rest four papers are specific to the relevant engineering regulation. In the segment which is explicit to the applicable engineering regulation will have objective type questions  for first two papers and  subjective type questions for the rest two papers . So Written test  carries  total of 1000 marks.

Personality Test

The candidates who succeed the written tests will be  called for personality test which is total of 200 marks.
