Employee’s State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) is conducting exam for filling up the post of 607 Social Security Officer/ Manager Gr-II/Superintendent vacancies on regular basis. ESIC SSO Prelims 2018 will be held in two different shifts today.

A lot of aspirants eyeing for the prestigious post, have taken their first step towards their goal by appearing for this exam. A lot of changes have been incorporated in the exam. The major being the introduction of the sectional time of 20 minutes. Hence, everyone is keen to know about the exam.

The level of the English section was easy to moderate. 8 questions were asked from Reading Comprehension. The passage was based on “Life Insurance and Profess Insurance”.

  • There were 2 questions of vocabulary based i.e Antonyms, Synonyms questions.
  • One word asked was ‘Liability‘.
  • Another word asked was ‘Exigency‘.

This section overall was easy to moderate. The puzzles  asked were lengthy. Three sets of seating arrangement and puzzles were asked.

  • Linear Arrangement – 6 persons were seated in a single row. Another parameter was cities of the persons.
  • Circular Arrangement: Data related to 10 persons were given. In this some persons were facing outward direction and some were facing inward direction.
  • Box-based puzzle: The data related to 6 boxes were provided.
