Forest and Environmental management is defined as the management of forests according to the principles of sustainable development. This course provides advanced training aiming at enhancing skills and knowledge of graduate trainees in forestry & environment. Also This course provides a broad view of relevant concepts and frameworks such as – sustainability, systems thinking, the precautionary approach and trying these to the development of thinking about environmental governance and management.
The main objective of this course is “To Preserve Forests in order to control the Environmental Pollution”.

Eligibility Criteria:
For UG courses-
For getting admission into under graduate courses candidates should have minimum 60% marks in their 10+2 or equivalent examination from State / Central Board.
For PG Courses-
i) Applying candidates must have a bachelor degree in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized Institute.
ii) Candidates also need to have a good score in the following entrance exam-

Career Prospects:-
I. After completing graduation there is a huge job prospects are available in government sector as well as private sector such as department of forest and wildlife.
II. One can opt in NGOs for the up gradation of forests and conservation of the soil.
III. People having experience in this field can also join as a Professor in colleges and universities.
IV. In Some corporate houses forestry graduates are required for timber plantations.
V. There are other career opportunities available in television channels such as Discovery Channel and Natural Geographic.
Remuneration:-
The range of salary depends on the academic achievements, personal skills , experience and capability.
- At initial level as a fresher, a candidate can earn between Rs.10,000 to Rs.15,000 per month
- People those who have relevant experience in this field their salary structure will be up to Rs.40,000.
