INSTRUMENTAL TECHNIQUES IN CHEMICAL ANALYSIS
INSTRUMENTAL TECHNIQUES IN CHEMICAL ANALYSIS
INTRODUCTION AND PRINCIPLE OF NMR:-
The analytical instrument is used for determining the daily process for modern chemical lab. It has vast knowledge as the instrument and computer manufacturer produces analytical machines which lead to increase of power and scope.
Chemical analysis can be divided into 3 categories:-
1) QUANTITATIVE ANALYSIS:-
It is used to calculate the total amount of species present in a sample.
2) QUALITATIVE ANALYSIS:-
It is used to identify one or more species present in the sample.
3) STRUCTURAL ANALYSIS:-
It helps to find out the spatial arrangement of atoms in a molecule.
CHEMICAL ANALYSIS:-
The process of decomposing the material into its constituents is known as chemical analysis.
NUCLEAR MAGNETIC RESONANCE:-
It is a physical phenomenon in which nuclei magnetic field absorbs and remove its electromagnetic radiation. It depends on the strength of magnetic field.
It is also used in medical imagine technique such as magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).
ADVANTAGES OF CHEMICAL ANALYSIS
1) Almost all medicines are discovered by chemists.
2) Food safety is also dependent upon chemistry.
3) Chemistry is the basis of all science.
DISADVANTAGES OF CHEMICAL ANALYSIS
1) Matter changes when it comes in contact with others.
2) The elements which can be used as wage may be unconsciously mixed when
Used for a responsible purpose.
