The University of Colorado Boulder is a public research university that is located in Boulder, Colorado, United States. It is the Flagship University of the University of Colorado system and it was founded five months before Colorado was admitted to the union in 1876.

Eleven Nobel Laureates, nine MacArthur Fellows, and 18 astronauts have been affiliated with CU – Boulder as students, researchers, or faculty members in its history. Also in addition to the academics, they have won 26 NCAA championships: 19 in skiing, six totals in men’s and women’s cross country, and one in football. Approximately 1,500 students participate in 34 intercollegiate club sports annually.

1.       Merit Based Alpha Kappa Alpha Scholarship

This is a one – year one – time only scholarship. The students would be selected on the basis of merit.
Eligibility: Any international applicant who is a full – time, sophomore or beyond student is eligible to apply. He / she must be currently enrolled in an accredited degree – granting institution, should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (“B” average) and must demonstrate community service and involvement.
Scholarship Amount: Amount that would be covering all the academic expenses of the student.
How to Apply: The candidate needs to fill up the scholarship application form and it must be attached with current resume, documentation of Project / Research, scholarly pursuit, 3 letters of recommendation not dated earlier than January of the current year, official unopened transcripts and a copy of acceptance letter and send it to the address mentioned in the website.

2.       Financial Need Based Kappa Alpha Scholarship

This is also a one – year one – time only scholarship. The students would be selected on the basis of the financial needs faced by the family of the candidate if the candidate is able to produce the testaments.
Eligibility: Any international applicant who is a full – time, sophomore or beyond student is eligible to apply. He / she must be currently enrolled in an accredited degree – granting institution, should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (“B” average) and must demonstrate community service and involvement.
Scholarship Amount: Amount that would be covering all the academic expenses of the student.

3.       Margarian Scholarship

Margarian Scholarship is a scholarship to reward a selected number of deserving students for their academic and personal achievements. This scholarship is designed for the high school juniors or seniors, the college / university students and the graduate school students.
Eligibility: Any international candidate with 3.0 G.P.A and above along with their contribution with economic hardship and commitment to their heritage, community and society are eligible for the scholarship.
Scholarship Amount: $ 1,000
How to Apply: The candidate needs to visit the link http://www.iefa.org, login there. Then the candidate can see the contact information for the school or organization that offers the award. The candidate will have to contact that organization to request the necessary forms, etc. and to see what requirements apply. Then they can apply directly to the organization that offers the award.
