WHAT IS THE JOB PROFILE ?

A civil judge in other terms magistrate is also known as general trial court judge.

If you see the civil side the lowest position is the court of civil judge that is the junior division. His basic responsibilities involves solving cases between two individuals or a company .The disputes raised are generally related to contracts or liabilities. The civil judge generally decides on compensation to be given from on side to the other to dissolve the matter.

WHO CAN APPLY FOR THIS POST?

The candidate should be minimum 22 years of age with maximum of 35 yrs.

The candidate should definitely possess a degree in law or a Law graduate  from  any university of Central government or State government.   Also enrolled as   an advocate under the Advocate Act 1961.

Another things considered are a person of good character  and not involved in any kind of offensive cases with a good health .

EXAM SYLLABUS FOR CIVIL JUDGE POST

There are 3 stages for the exams-

The preliminary

The mains

The oral exam

Since the exam to be conducted is for a Civil Judge hence it’s quite obvious that the topics for the exam would be related to laws, penal codes and legal acts ..

  5. Transfer of Property Act 1882

PAPER III

  1. Rent Control Law
  2. The Hindu Law & The Mohammedan Law
  3. The Specific Relief Act 1963
  4. Jurisprudence

PAPER IV

  1. HINDI & ENGLISH -essays ,comprehension,,translations,Paraphrase

SALARY OF A CIVIL JUDGE

The revised salary package of a Civil Judge (junior division) ranges from rs 27,000 to rs 44,770

Whereas the salary of Civil Judge (senior division) ranges from rs Rs 39,530 – Rs 54,010.
