Many students from all over the globe seek to take admission in the universities of Netherlands, but unfortunately many are unable to do so due to different problems like the financial need, etc. So the government of Netherlands and many private foundations have started the provision of providing the scholarship to the international students who are extra – ordinarily meritorious, talented and due to their financial need or some of their other problems, they can’t afford to take the admission.

1.       Masters’ Fellowship Program for Developing Countries

This fellowship program is demand – driven and is designed to promote capacity building within the organizations. It is funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the development cooperation budget.
Eligibility: Any international candidate who is holding their bachelors’ or equivalent degree along with at least three years of professional experience in relative fields are eligible for this scholarship. The candidate must not have accepted this program before in their past.
Scholarship Amount: The amount that would be covering the tuition fees, travel and subsistence expenses, etc.

2.       Erasmus Mundus Scholarships for Developing Countries

This is a fully funded scholarship program for Masters’ degree. These are exclusively awarded to the students who have been selected to attend one of the Erasmus Mundus Joint Programs for the Masters’ degree.
Eligibility: As the Erasmus Mundus Joint Programme defines its own selection criteria and admission procedure, so the candidate needs to contact the Consortium that is offering the Masters’ program.
Scholarship Amount: The amount that would be covering the tuition fees, living costs, travel and insurance expenses, etc.

3.       Netherlands Fellowship Program

4.       Erasmus Mundus Scholarships for Coastal and Marine Engineering and Management

The Erasmus Mundus Masters in Coastal and Marine Engineering and Management is a two – year English – taught international Masters’ programme.
Eligibility: Any international candidates who is holding BSc degree in the relevant subject with at least 75% GPA is eligible to apply. The candidate should be fluent in English.
Scholarship Amount: Full scholarship is provided by the Erasmus Mundus Masters’ program.

index15.       RNTC Fellowships for Developing Countries’ Students

The RNTC Fellowship Fund is given to support the journalists, programme – makers, broadcast trainers and managers from around the world who are looking to develop their media skills, but unfortunately is not having enough financial means to pay for the costs of the course of their choice.
Eligibility: Any international candidate who is professional journalists, programme – makers, broadcast trainers and managers are eligible for this scholarship.
Scholarship Amount: Amount that would be covering up to 50% of the course fees.
How to Apply: The candidates need to apply online. The applicants need to submit the letter of motivation within 150 – 200 words in which explaining why they think that they qualify for one of these scholarships, a completed registration form, curriculum vitae, proof of proficiency in English and scholarship applications will have to be uploaded as attachments in the ROSA, RNTC’s Online System for Applications.

6.       Agris Mundus Masters Scholarships for International Students

This scholarship is provided to train the students to cope with the current global / international concerns in agriculture and rural developments.
Eligibility: Any international candidate who is having their Bachelors’ degree along with very good score in it. The candidates must also have good score in IELTS exam.
Scholarship Amount: EUR 8,000 for the 2 years

7.       International Master in Management of IT Scholarships

This scholarship is jointly offered by IAE Aix Graduate School of Management, Université Paul Cezanne Aix-Marseille III (France), Turku University (Finland) and Tilburg University (The Netherlands).
Eligibility: Any international candidates with a Bachelor’s or equivalent undergraduate degree (180 ECTS) either in Management / Economics / Business Administration or in Computer Science/ Information System, an engineering degree that can be admitted if their previous education includes IT and information systems and a satisfactory scholastic average with a minimum of 3.0 (B) grade – point average, in course work completed during the Bachelor’s degree are eligible for the scholarship.
Scholarship Amount: A partial tuition fee waiver which is offered by IAE Aix between € 500 and € 2800 to the EU and non – EU students for the first year of the IMMIT programme, depending on the financial capacity and academic excellence of the candidate and also a partial tuition fee waiver of € 4098 for the non – EU students for the second year of the IMMIT programme.
How to Apply: All the admitted students are automatically considered for the IMMIT scholarship, provided that the complete application package should be received by the institute before the deadline.

8.       Amandus H. LunMqvist Scholarship Program for International Students

This scholarship is awarded to the students with the best grades in their previous education at renowned universities outside the Netherlands.
Eligibility: Any international candidate who have submitted the complete application package for the admission in the Master’s program, are highly talented, excellent students who have achieved a cumulative GPA above 80% of the scale maximum in their Bachelor’s degree from an internationally acclaimed university, have not been granted a scholarship by any other scholarship organization, etc. are eligible for this scholarship.
Scholarship Amount: € 5,000 for both of the two years
How to Apply: The candidates can automatically enter the selection if admitted to the Master’s program of a well known institute having submitted all the applications before the scholarship deadline mentioned in the website.

9.       EMMC Student Scholarships for International Master Students

This scholarship will be offered to the most appropriate candidates according to the selection ranking and the nationality rule set by the European Agency.
Eligibility: Any international candidates who have pursued their full time bachelors’ degree or equivalent with very good marks in it are eligible for this scholarship
Scholarship Amount: € 4,000 per year

10.   Fellowship Programmes for Master’s Degree

This program promotes capacity building within the organizations in 50 countries by providing training and education through fellowships for professionals. It is initiated and fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs under the budget for development cooperation.
Eligibility: Any international candidates who is a professional with at least three years work experience, a national of and working and living in one of the countries on the NFP country list valid at the time of application, are nominated by their employer, who pledges to continue paying the candidate’s salary and guarantees the candidate will be able to return to an equivalent position after the termination of the fellowship period and have been unconditionally admitted to a Dutch institution for the course or programme for which the candidate applies for an NFP fellowship.
Scholarship Amount: The amount that would be covering the costs of living, the costs of tuition fees, visas, travel, insurance and thesis research
How to Apply: The candidates must apply for the academic admission directly at the Dutch institution. The admission must be unconditional in terms of the education and language proficiency. Conditional admission may be granted only subject to finding suitable funding for the programme. The application must be submitted online through Scholarships Online (SOL) before the fellowship application deadline.
