Hello friends!

The New India Assurance Co.  Limited successfully conducted its Phase 1 Exam on 17th of December 2016. Lakhs of candidates appeared in the exam in three shifts. This was the preliminary exam for shortlisting students for Phase II examination.

The Duration of exam was of 1 hour though the reporting time was scheduled 1.5 hour before the start of exam. The Given below the exam pattern of the NIACL Administrative Exam 2016-

New India Assurance  Co. Ltd. Phase I Exam -2016 Written Exam Pattern-

The written exam includes the three sections English, Quantitative Aptitude and Reasoning Ability. The time allotted  for the Phase I exam is 1 hour. A total of 100 questions worth 100 marks are to be attempted. There was provision of negative marking as well. About .25 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. The credit given will be 1 mark for  each correct answer.

Exam Analysis and Difficulty level of English-

This section includes 30 question worth 30 marks. As usual the English asked was a bit typical. Though the question from some topics were comparatively easy. There were questions from all topics like Comprehension, Cloze test, fill in the blanks, error detection , Sentence re- arrangement etc. The Difficulty level was moderate. The section includes 35 questions worth 35 marks. Questions were asked from various topics like – Sitting arrangement, Complex sitting arrangement, syllogisms,  statements and conclusions etc. The Level of Difficulty was Above average. Given Below is the Exam questions break up in tabular form-
