Philanthropy with Corporate dreams How Achievable
The field ofphilanthropy may be relatively new in India, but the notion of charity certainly is
Not. informal charity has long been an integral part of community and social life throughout
Asia. Buddhist and Confucian traditions, amongst others, emphasize mutual help and charity within communities and among kin. Religion also plays an important role in determining an individual’s charitable obligations to his or her community. Now it is the turn of the corporate world to take this event a long way.

 philanthropy with corporate dreams

philanthropy with nurturing of corporate sector.

Recently we have seen “reliance money” as the philanthropic partner of “satya may va jaayate”, which is really a milestone in Indian corporate environment. Thus, philanthropy in developing countries like India should go parallelly with nurturing of corporate sector.

In this uprising epoch of technology-oriented market the society and corporate world should grow on symbiosis basis .Each of the two are indispensible. When an industry grows due to the prime elements of the society, it also carries some responsibility to give back and forth. Now –a-days the firms are more profit oriented and philanthropy is less seen in the corporate niche.

It is something that nature too says that world survives on symbionts, then how it could be deniable that big dreams can be on palms without philanthropy. In an ailing country like India, the growth is very dependent on industrialization, because industrialization attracts public private partnerships and further developments in urban areas. Today it is vivid that every organization has made its own charitable wing and gone a long way towards rural and urban metamorphosis .now emerging philanthropy has been seen due to a new generation of ambitious philanthropists, many of whom built their fortunes on the back of the IT boom

Philanthropy by corporates

Philanthropy by corporates

of the past 30 years. Today, experts in this field place a high premium on “strategic philanthropy”, an approach that aims to make effective contributions to social change by adopting some of the practices of successful profit oriented businesses. By balancing both the factors in todays’ era it is possible to make philanthropy along with achieving high dreams.

In my views, Doing some good in terms of money or in any other way for the love of mankind is a concept, which is growing among companies in developing Asian countries like India. Religion, Indian culture and tradition plays a very important role when it comes to charity for any development within the city or any area. Growth of any country is made up of different factors out of which industrialization is the major one in India. The aim here of organizations now is to increase the profit margin and contribute to the society and mankind with the intention of making the world a better place to live. However, this philanthropy varies from firm to firm. However, this social responsibility is not hidden anymore.

The Indian market is one of the major growing markets across the world with increased awareness of philanthropy, which is more of going very strategic. However, I agree with the authors point of view that philanthropy is quite less when compared to the growth of corporations.

Philanthropy must be included with corporate dreams as we are ultimately human beings working for humans and as humans.
Professional ethics need to be refreshed time-to-time in order to keep the philanthropic portion of the character alive and working.
Although it’s a cut throat competition era but we must not act inhumane and shrewd to other people.. a sense of belonging and trust must exist in professional career as well.

i agerr with the authers point of view that philanthropy is quite less when compared to the growth of corporation. which is growing.Philanthropy : This term is for those who are kind and feel that every mankind should be equal because the Philanthropy is the work of charity with a corporate sector. It’ll hard for fresher because it is that like we are “mixing water in oil which will doesn’t happen”

Philanthropy means doing good deeds financially or in other way for the love of mankind.
This concept is popularizing among companies in developing Asian countries like India.

Philanthropy plays a great role in n corporate world.
Companies look for charitable and philanthropic activities for a specific cause that in turn fulfills their own business objectives. Indian culture lays the basis of Charity.

Philanthropy is quiet achievable with corporate dreams. Of course, the company has a publicizing motive by doing charitable activities but at the end it is charity for mankind, if done honestly without any self motive.

I agree that Philanthropy is less when compared to the growth of corporation.

Companies target to use philanthropy as a means to benefit their business interests simultaneously. An example of “Waren Buffet” can be quoted here who donated a part of his wealth to Bill Gates Charity Foundation. It shows his love for mankind.

Philanthropy should be promotted as world biggest investor “WAREN BUFFET” creates an example by donating its half of entire wealth to Bill and malinda Gates charity foundation. It increases spirit of humanity through out globe and other needy persons to emerge

  14. Sarabjeet Singh Hira says:

Its such a informative thought that has been put up using this blog.Philanthropy has been a part of indian ancient culture, where “love for mankind” has been given a major concerned. “love for mankind” as usually shown by money given to,or work done for, other people. since the history teaches us that even our ancestors guided us and recommended us for philanthropy. Philanthropy is great deed in indian civilization and is must be conducted by big industries to balance the growth of the country.
yes, it should be an act of mankind. There has be regular need for it. although, despite of charity aspect, big businessman use it publicity and for social gathering, but as long as its helping our growth. its good for us.

corporate world always aims to go with human emotions as they are the driving stream for the living…work of “reliance”,social intiatives by ambani group, adani group etc… proves to be a strong way for employing a mass of people, enduring many physically handicapped people with living standards .corporate sector show philanthropy because now days ,people related business issues or growth with wrong and illegal deeds of corporate world and to some extent have withdrawn faith from business policies,so to keep people in tact ,they pursue this.

india being a developing country faces a great change in economy every year those making it vunerable to foreign exploitation and in turn lead to drought of develpment in country.so,philantrophy is a must in indian economy
