PLACEMENT CRITERIA FOR CENTRAL BANK OF INDIA
Central Bank was established in 1911, is the first Indian commercial bank which is wholly controlled by Indians. The bank was founded by Sir Sorabji Pochkhanawala. It was the matter of pride for him to introduce this bank as the asset of nation, and termed the bank as the Bank of the people. The bank introduced various innovative banking techniques to transform all the threats into new opportunities. Some of the facilities provided by the bank are home savings, locker facility, insurance benefit, Recurring deposit scheme etc. The main mission of the bank is to enhance the banking experience of the customers so that it could get enjoyable by delivering effective banking services and to spread its roots all over India.

Hiring Process- The selection of the candidates are done on the basis of written test, Group Discussion and Interview. Just by fulfilling the eligibility criteria the candidate is not entitled to sit for the interview, the bank has the right to call a required number of candidate only after the initial screening based on the qualification and experience for the same.
The written test is conducted online by the authorities which consists of different sections which include Reasoning (25 Questions), General Awareness (25 Questions), English (25 Questions) and area of specialization (50 Questions). The time allotted for the test is 125 minutes and total marks is 100. The qualifying marks for the test would be decided by the bank. The candidate appearing has to option to attempt the test either in English or Hindi. The written test is conducted at different centers in different cities.
After the candidates qualify the written test they are called for further Group Discussion, ersonality test and Interview based on the merit list.
