The result of the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA) has been declared in February 2013. The news of the MAT result was eagerly awaited by the students. MAT can be given in two modes. Candidate can select any one of the two options to take the test – Paper Based Test Or Computer Based Test.
Large numbers of Business schools consider MAT score. If you appear in MAT so you have 600 B-Schools across India as option. MAT is to be conducted four times in the year, so you have more chances to appear; if you are not satisfied by your performance in the test. Usual MAT is conducted in the first Sunday of December, February, May and September. The examination is designed to determine a person’s general aptitudes as the following table indicates: MAT written exam tests the aptitude of the candidate in a number of areas. It generally consists of questions related to:
1. Logical Reasoning / Ability skills
2. Mathematical Skills & Quantitative Ability
3. Data analysis / Data Interpretation and Sufficiency skills
4. English Language / Grammar & Comprehension
5. General Awareness of the Indian and Global environment
Graduates of every discipline were appeared in this examination. MAT is a national level test conducted to facilitate different management institutes to screen candidates for entrance to MBA and associated programmes. The score cards issued to the candidates are considered in the selection process for admission to various nationwide or global B-schools.
