NATA stands for National Aptitude Test in Architecture. It is a national entrance examination for architecture which is conducted by National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA). NIASA is a body of Council of Architecture, New Delhi.

1.       R V College of Engineering

Established in 1963, this college is one of the first private unaided colleges in India. It is situated in the outskirts of Bangalore on Mysore. It is an autonomous institute. This college is under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum.

2.       Lovely Professional University

Established in 2001, this college became one of the largest universities in India. Students are being given scholarships and financial aids since last one year. Students taking admission here are not only from India, but also from other countries.

Minimum Eligibility:– 50% aggregate in 10+2 or Diploma in Architectural Assistantship or equivalent, 80 in NATA and interview. 5% relaxation to SC / ST / OBC candidates.

3.       College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram

This college was established in 1939 in the capital city of Kerala. It is commonly known as CET and is one of India’s premier Engineering and Architecture College.

4.       Government Engineering College, Thrissur

This college is one of the oldest and the most prestigious institution of Technical Education in Kerala. This was established in 1957 and is now popularly known as Thrissur Engineering College or GECT.

5.       MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology

6.       Amity School of Engineering Technology

This college was established in 1999 and is an institute of Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF). It is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi. It is also known as ASET.

7.       Sathyabama University

This is a private university in Chennai. This was founded in 1988 as Sathyabama Engineering College by Jeppiaar Educational Trust. Later in 2001 this was converted to university. This college is mainly famous for quality education, students’ placement, discipline and good facilities.
