This is the best medical college of Tripura and governs B R Ambedkar Memorial Teaching Hospital in its campus. The college is spread in an area of 31 acres of land and was established in year 2006. It intakes around 100 students every year for its MBBS course and out of these, 15 seats are reserved for CBSE/AIPMT students. It is affiliated to Tripura University which is a central university. The college is approved by Medical Council of India(MCI) and is also enlisted in International Medical Education Directory.
