This college was established in year 1955. Entrance in the college is made by qualifying the public entrance examination. Eligibility criteria includes that the candidate should be senior secondary passed with minimum 55% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the major subjects. For SC/ST candidates a relaxation of 5 % is given. The college offers MBBS degree to the students.

2: Government Medical College Bhavnagar-

This college is affiliated to Bhavnagar University. The college has a very well developed infrastructure and its labs have been accredited by NABL. This college was established in year 1955 and currently admits around 150 students per year 150 in 15 branches of Medicine and Surgery.
