Northwestern University is a private institute that was founded in the year 1851. It was established to serve the Northwest Territory, the area that now includes the states of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, and parts of Minnesota. After completing its first building in 1855, Northwestern began classes that fall with two faculty members and 10 students. Sixteen presidents have presided over Northwestern in the years since.

The possibilities are endless. Rotary differs from Fulbright and from NSEP; Rotary cannot guarantee that a student will be assigned to the first choice university, as the geographical distribution of Scholars is important to Rotary’s overall design
Eligibility: Citizens of any country with a Rotary club, excluding linear descendants of living Rotarians
Scholarship Amount: It depends on the district funding priorities of the town of the candidate and the Evanston Rotary Clubs
2. PEO International Peace Scholarship
Believing that education is fundamental to world peace and understanding, members of the P.E.O. Sisterhood contribute funds to provide scholarships for selected women from other countries for study in the United States and Canada.
Eligibility: Any international candidate who is not a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
Scholarship Amount: $ 10,000

3. OFID Scholarship Awards for International Students
This scholarship is for qualified applicants who have obtained or are on the verge of completing their undergraduate degree and who wish for a Master’s degree are eligible to apply.
Eligibility: Any international student from any developing country with a minimum GPA of 3.0 in their highest qualification. The minimum qualification required is a bachelor’s degree.
Scholarship Amount: $ 50,000
