AIPMT Syllabus with PDF
AIPMT (ALL INDIA PRE MEDICAL TEST) is an all India level pre medical entrance exam which includes several governmental as well as private medical colleges. MBBS, BDS are the courses included in this test. AIPMT exam consists of two level exam, the first is of preliminary level and the candidates who will qualify in preliminary round will be only eligible to appear in the mains. The exam duration is of 3 hours and include subjects such as physics, chemistry, and biology.
Students having minimum 50% of marks in subjects of first stream I.e., biology, mathematics, physics, English in their higher secondary, 40% of marks in case of Schedule caste / Scheduled tribe candidates are eligible for this exam. The aspiring candidates must of minimum of 17 years of age and not more than 25 years of age in order to be eligible for this exam.
AIPMT Exam Pattern and Format:-
Total no. of questions:
- For Preliminary Examination- 200 Objective type Questions.
- For Final Examination- 120 Objective type Questions.
Time Duration:
- For Preliminary Examination- 3 hours
- For Final Examination- 3 hours
Correct attempt: 4 marks for each right answer
Incorrect attempt: Negative 1 marks for each wrong answer

PHYSICS
AIPMT Physics syllabus includes following unit :
Introduction and Measurement, Description of Motion in One Dimension, Description of Motion in Two and Three Dimensions, Laws of Motion, Work, Energy and Power, Rotational Motion, Gravitation, Heat and Thermodynamics, Oscillations, Waves, Electrostatics, Current Electricity, Thermal and Chemical Effects of Currents, Magnetic Effect of Currents, Magnetism, Electromagnetic Induction and Alternating Currents, Electromagnetic Waves (Qualitative Treatment), Ray Optics and Optical Instruments, Electrons and Photons, Atoms, Molecules and Nuclei, Solids and Semiconductor Devices.

CHEMISTRY
AIPMT Chemistry syllabus includes following unit :
Some basic concepts in Chemistry, States of matter, Atomic structure, Classification of elements and periodicity in properties, 5 Chemical energetics, Chemical bonding, Equilibrium, Redox reactions, Solid state Chemistry, Chemical thermodynamics, Solutions, Chemical kinetics, Electrochemistry, Surface chemistry, Hydrogen, S-Block Elements (Alkali and Alkaline Earth metals), General principles and processes of isolation of elements, p-Block Elements, The d-and f-Block elements, Coordination compounds, Some basic principles of Organic Chemistry, Hydrocarbons, Purification and characterization of carbon compounds, Organic compounds with functional groups containing halogens (X), Organic compounds with functional groups containing oxygen, Organic Compounds with functional group containing nitrogen, Polymers, Environmental Chemistry, Biomolecules, Chemistry in everyday life.
