CBSE Syllabus Class XI English-Studying English is again necessary in today’s competitive world where it has become absolutely necessary. It provides students with  competence and focuses on the study of literary texts. The syllabus provides massive  exposure to a variety of  world literature as well as Indian writings in English  at the college level.It also helps the students to expand their vocabulary world and also develop a taste of reading. The students thus develops proficiency in English.

Very Short and Short Answer Questions: Literary or discursive passage of about 900-950 words.
Short Answer Questions: A poem of about 20-24 lines to test interpretation and appreciation.
