Castrol India Limited, also known as CIL, is a prominent player in the lubricant industry. Meanwhile, its headquarters are strategically located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, facilitating its operations as an automotive and industrial lubricant manufacturing company. It is the 2nd largest manufacturer of automotive and industrial lubricants in the Indian Lubricant market.
CIL operates 5 manufacturing plants that network with 270 distributors to serve over 70,000 retail outlets.
The company was founded in 1979 as Indrol Lubricants and Specialist Pvt Ltd. In 1990, the company changed its name from Indrol Lubricants and Specialist Pvt Ltd to Castrol India Limited.
The products of Castrol are oil, petroleum, petrochemicals, and lubricants. CIL is the part of BP group worldwide.
Castrol India Limited is a public Ltd company, with Castrol Ltd UK holding 70.92% of its equity. It manufactures products that are used in the production of telephone cable jellies, pharmaceutical jellies, and industrial waxes

CIL RECRUITMENT :
CIL is looking for well-equipped and dedicated Graduate Engineers for the recruitment as Officers in the following engineering disciplines:
• Mechanical Engineering
• Chemical Engineering
• Production Engineering
• Electrical Engineering
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
Educational Qualification: Minimum educational qualification for employment in the above-mentioned positions are:
• Candidates must have been awarded bachelor’s degrees in engineering/ technology in the above-mentioned disciplines (full-time regular courses only) from recognized Indian Universities / Institutes.
• Applicants belonging to General and OBC (non-creamy layer) categories, should have secured a minimum of 65% marks. It is relaxed to ‘pass’ for Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) /People With Disability (PWD) candidates.
• Cut off should be 60% all through the career.
