UGC NET SYLLABUS: ENGLISH, ELECTRONIC SCIENCE,ECONOMICS

ELECTRONIC SCIENCE

The Electronic Science basically consist of two paper UGC NET ELECTRONICS PAPER II and UGC NET ELECTRONICS PAPER III.Paper II consist of 50 multipe choice questions carrying 100 marks and paper III consist of two parts A & B.

Part A: This part consist of 10 short essay type questions carrying 16 marks each. This section contains multiple choices from each unit.

Part B: This is the mandatory part.It contains question from unit- I to unit-X. The candidate has to attempt only 1 question carrying 40 marks.

The maximum marks of NET ELECTRONICS PAPER III will be 200.

 

 English

It consist of two question  papers

UGC NET English Paper  II

It consist of 50 objective type questions.The pattern of the paper will be multiple choice, matching type, True/False, Assertion –Reasoning type. The maximum marks for this paper  will be 100.

 UGC NET English Paper III

This paper consist of two parts A & B.

Part  A: It consist of 10 essay type questions carrying 16 marks each. The maximum marks will be 160 for this section.

Part  B: This is the mandatory part.It consist of one question from each of the electives. The candidate has to attempt only one question carrying 40  marks. The maximum marks for this section will be  200,

Economics

It consist of two questions papers PART II and UGC NET PAPER III.

UGC NET PART II: This part consist of 50 objective type questions. The maximum marks will be 100.

UGC NET PART III: This section is further divided into two parts A & B.

Part A: This part consist of 10 short essay type questions carrying 16 marks each. The maximum marks for this section will be 160. Each question is designed from one unit.

Part B:This part is the mandatory part. The candidate has to attempt one question from each part. The maximum marks for this will be 200 marks.
