We talk about democracy and corruption but many of us are just too tired even to vote. We prefer to promote corruption when we have to get our work done. We fail to stand by those who raise voice against corruption and just want to win an argument but loose even our self esteem to corrupt system. We are the promoters. There is a fragmentation within us, in what we say, what we think and what we do. What have we actually done, on individual basis, on ground level, to strengthen democracy and reduce corruption? This always give birth to the “Corruption Is The Price We Pay for Democracy” to be discussed as a common GD topic.

Corruption

Corruption is the price we pay for Democracy

First of all we have to see the meaning of corruption. The corruption is nothing but the giving a thing (money or anything) for getting a work from others quickly. As soon as the Britisher leaved our country, some other dictators are formed in our country. They made corruption. But now each and every human being is corrupting up to his maximum extent. Corruption is one of the major common disease of the many countries. The country with corruption are the countries which are always in control of the other people.

The corruption is mainly coming from the people who are lazy and elite. At first, the lazy peoples and elite people are corrupted the society for their wealth. Then gradually people started to corrupt the society. But now we cannot do anything in the society without corruption. Instead of other feeling (National, Welfare of society) the corruption is the thing which is running as the blood in the people of the major countries.

About corruption, this is not the new term (as many said corruption means getting their work done by unfair means) people in old days (may from the days humanity exists) this thing was done but that time it was not harming anyone a lot (there were very less people then) but nowadays in a country like India with such huge population and of-course with democracy, everyone cannot fulfil his needs he has to take wrong ways, this results in corruption. But I don’t think democracy has to do with it as there are lots of democratic countries in the world with less corruption India ranks at 95 (More the number more corrupt the country is) in the corruption perception. So we can realize there are lots of countries which are having less corruption while having a DEMOCRACY!

We all know that corruption is a Legal offense. And its like a fatal disease. But we can’t say that only our government is responsible for corruption even we all are also involved in it. And we also enhance it as much as a politician. And I consider that its our misunderstanding that we blame our government. Our government is not corrupt but their people are corrupt. And they take undue advantage of their entrusted power.

Yes I supporting in corruption is the price we pay for democracy. Democracy is of the people, for the people, we pay price for democracy but some politicians, officers and police officers doing corruption and that is happening only because of us because some of us paying more money to the officers for getting our work done earlier so first we should stop the paying then after may be the corruption also will be stopped.

Corruption is misuse of powers for their private gain. Corruption is found in every field. Everyone is corrupted. It may be politician or a middle class person. Corruption is increasing day by day. Due to corruption, rich get richer and poor get poorer. Our politicians are corrupted who run our country. If politicians are corrupted then how India will become a developed country. We can’t blame anyone for corruption because we all responsible for it. Why should we pay money to officers? By doing so, our work should be done quickly and we have not to wait for it. This is the only reason for giving bribe. To remove corruption, firstly we have to change.

It is just a reflection of current scenario that corruption is ruling the country. We are living in a democratic country where we choose our own government but its a pity that every now and then we get to know that these people are connected with any scam or corruption charges.
It just signifies the level of corruption which we are tackling these days and in coming days, if we doesn’t change the scenario, it will lead to the end of this democracy and corruption will rule.

Corruption is any unfair means to get your work done. Corruption exists in almost in every sector. In small terms corruption exists in colleges where students pay to get marks. In big terms it exists in politics!

As we know, democracy means of the people, for the people and by the people. It is to help people leave the way they want. This liberty however can be misused

I totally agree with the above article nd above statement that ” Corruption is the price we pay for democracy ” bcoz now a days Corruption is like a cholestral in the vessels of blood system (Society). It gradually decreases the size of the vessels and leads to heart attack (Social welfare)… And we also enhance it as much as a politician…

in my point of view corruption is the price we pay for democracy. Democracy means of the people, for the people and we are part of democracy. Corruption occurs in India is not only govt’s fault its our fault, because if we the people of India are not supporting the corruption then there is no question of corruption. So first we the people must be corruption less then India will automatically be a good democracy country.

Yes..Corruption is the price we pay for democracy.. Democracy is of the people, for the people, we pay price for democracy but some politicians, officers and police officers doing corruption and that is happening only because of us because some of us paying more money to the officers for getting our work done earlier so first we should stop the paying then after may be the corruption also will be stopped..
I think Corruption is nothing but a dishonesty. CORRUPTION IS ANYWHERE. If we take all fields which is include teaching, schools, politician, police etc. Both of them involved in corruption not only politician and traffic police. Corruption its like a disease. So we should stop giving to bribe to those field to avoid CORRUPTION DISEASE. “Change yourself first” & COUNTRY IS AUTOMATICALLY CHANGED.
