Reservation in Promotions
Although reservation in promotion is a matter of group discussion but as India is a free country and I am free to say or speak what so ever i like so i will start to advocate reservation for post of Prime minister , after all most of the time they have been earlier cabinet ministers and then latter in other elections they have been promoted to PM position

There is proposal to provide reservation to SC and STs in government job promotions at the rate of 15% and 7.5% respectively.This is ridiculous and dangerous step.It will result in conflict in the society and promote inequality ,due to this seniors will became juniors.They are waiting for 30-40 years to get the promotion but due to this there is an injustice between them , the people who are having reservation can get the promotion erlier than the seniors ,this will create an inequality between them. Majority of the benefits that are supposed to go to entire SC/ST community are garned by very few rich and influencial ones. The same gang gets theire priority in everything right from admission to schools ,colleges ,post graduations ,appointments and now ready to in promotions also.
Generally the Indian constitution makers proposed the reservation for 10 years only , but still its going on in favour of SC/ST only , all the politicians are very much concerned about the SC/ST only but why not GEN/OBC .The OBC personnel are not getting any benefits at par with SC/ST .If this will be continued in the future definitely there will be a chance that OBC willbe becoming dalit.
Reservation is painful for people . I would like the reservation be there based on the economic conditions and those who are poor irrespective of caste or religion should be given opportunities . The government should eliminate all caste system and only one caste remains and that is INDIAN.

According to my opinion Reservation should be applicable only for those individual people who are lagging with their financial background and failed to managed for fill a examination fee. Every country have it’s GDP rate and GDP rate of any country depends on the status and capabilities of the citizens. If we are promoting them on the basis of caste (Reservations) & they don’t have such ability to lead them at the peak. So this is unfair for the deserving candidate as well as for our country. Many people have capability for their promotions but due to reservation undeserved people fill their seat. People of general cast hurt many times due to reservation. So i would like to conclude that reservation simply creates differences amongst the community.

the reservation are not good for in education and government job .because the senior will became junior due to the reservation .the SC and ST wiil have more reservation then OBC and general category.if we have 100 government job then the 17% reserve for ST and 12% for SC and remaining for other category.if those seats are vacant in SC and ST manner then we will not fill those sits through the other caste. so we analyze that the brilliant student who wiil not belong to sc and st they also not applicable due to the reservation.
Its my bad luck that i born in a country like india where there is a very serious disease of RESERVATION is there.Reservation basically was made to help the poor and backward class people but at present time its a evil for all general class people.
THE SON OF A S.T./S.C./O.B.C class father who is a good govr. doctor must not get reservation.
And reservation in promotions are strictly not accpetable because it clearly cut out the all progress chance of general people….!!
Reservation is the big problem in India it was mainly came into for those people who are poor who can not higher education and those who were considered lower cast and not allow to come with higher class people.
But today it is being taken in wrong way and only some well people, they are getting or we can say taking benefit of it, and those people who are indeed are not getting benefit of it. This system is giving problem to those student who are trying very hard but cannot get through cause of reservation till now but now in reservation in promotions will cause same problem in the Govt. offices.
Reservations in promotions, in my opinion is a total crap and such rules should not be imparted in the parliament. First of all there is a law for the reservation for the SC/ST’s and other backward classes which provide them a wide range of relaxations in government as well as some of the private scenarios.They enjoy upto a great extent by getting a large quota for themselves.I,being from a jainism background can even too demand my reservation rights because our community is also one of the few communities with very less people.The point we don’t demand reservation the government would not look upto us?
In my opinion the evil of reservation has gripped society in its firm grip that would deteroriate nation’s talent and thirst to evolve as an individual and finally reservations and that too in Promotions is totally unfair and unproductive.
Reservation is a necessary devil of our country. On one hand, it has played a vital role in uprising of lower casts of India, On the other hand the development of our country as a whole has suffered greatly. The fact that reservation was given in order for uprising of lower casts the but the outcome is not that effective as our politicians expected.
Our politician are now bringing a new bill which says that there should be a reservation in promotion. I strongly feel that this bill should be brought into work but effectively. The work of every citizen should be thoroughly considered before promoting him. As the promotion is a very important aspect of our life, there should not be any case where a person was just discarded because he belongs to the upper cast.
So I would like to conclude by saying that there should be scrutiny before promoting a person and though the bill should be implemented, it should concentrate only upon the uprising of India.
How such ridiculous proposols can even come in the minds of the people sitting there at the parliament. On one hand we use to talk about equality and on other we are just planning for reservations???
We have already pressurised the general category people a lot by providing reservations in education , government jobs and almost everywhere. But now in Promotions???
its just like one has committed a fault to born in a general category family. If we actually want to set up equality we surely have to drop this idea of reservation from all the places…
atleast from the promotions so that a person can be satisfied with the fact that if he gets a job he can surely get promotions on the basis of his capabilities.
As per as my view reservation is not good in govt. jobs , we can’t judge any ones ability according to their cast and category.
In the govt. jobs promotion gets after a very lony time service and perfomance and after that if we judge any one by their cast and not give them promotion in unfair . according to me reservation only for those who are lagging with their financial problem and also good in work and serives .
in our country this unfair system is prefered ,but the gdp rate of any country depends on the status and capabilities of the citizens, if we are promoting them on the basis of caste & they don’t have such ability to lead them at the peak. so , dont make any criterion in the govt or any jobs for promotion according to the cast.
In my point of view,reservation should be only to those who are weak economically. Not everyone should get in accordance to caste system,it will hide the effectiveness and intelligency of any candidate. Practically i have seen in my district a negetive marked candidate selected in RPSC,now tell me wat he will teach.. Guyyys please say no to this type of reservation and move towards it. It should be based on the economical conditions only.
I like to say that this “Reservation” word is a tight slap on the face of India. It is a very foolish idea to give promotion on reservation basis. There is a clear logic that if you have a talent then you will get promotion. Just only for collecting the votes of public, government puts these types of bill in parliament and try to pass it. It never think for the welfare for people. I want to ask from the govt. that what are the scheme declared by the govt. for poor people as they are belong to OBC & General. I think reservation should be on the basis of financial condition. In this way reservation is really helpful otherwise it is worthless.
Reservation is the very popular topic in parliament that raised oftentimes used at the time of elections by the ministers .”WHY RESERVATION”this should be very famous title on that a super-hit movie can make ,
At the old time the reservation is for only that deserves it “EVERYBODY KNOW THE NAME OF ‘BHEAM RAV AMBEDEKER NOBODY KNOW THE NEME OF THE PERSON THAT MAKE HIM ABLE TO BE COULD ALL THAT AND PROVIDE SCHOLARSHIP THAT WAS THE KING OF KHETRINAGAR(now in jhujhunu) MAHARAJA AJIT SINGH “. that was all done in old time also and after independence of India it being a law and it is just for whom that not able to expose them to give a platform to enhancement of them but in promotion there is a quality should matter if it is than surely he was given the chance to improvement but this is like the exploitation of others it not to be happen .
atlast shortly i want to say that it will not fair with other if they provide reservation in promotion.,
in my opinion reservation in promotion should given to only those persons who don’t have enough resources to live and feed themselves.this reservation in promotion is becoming a cause of protest among the citizens..as i think if reservation in these fields remains continued it will directely affect the nation because it develop barriers for the economic growth of nation in indirect manner.it should not be based upon cast basis.
It will lead to danger consequences ..

The Promotion should be given on the basis of quality of work , experience and most importantly the self behaviour towards the organisation …
We have to stop it , we dont want castism everywhere …
We want some strict moves guys …ask yourself “Are we serious and honest about ourselves ?”….
A big NO..to reservation.and that too in the promotions.Nah.
If a person steps up a ladder,let him climb by himself,and not on the basis of his surname.
Reservation in professional exams ,is anyway a big debate but in promotions,its a straight NO.
Believe in yourself..your own talents and abilities and not on the caste or religion u belong to.
One is defined by his name and known by his actions,and succeeds by his talents and behaviour.
Here,in this stream..the surname does’nt fit any cord.Its not only unfair to the ones who are more worthy of the promotion(from unreserved cateogary)but also to the institution,it wont help anywhere to its growth.
So if ur thinking for reservation in promotions,then do give it second thoughts with honesty.Answer will be clearer then!

No i am not agree with it ,, there should not at all reservations in promotions !! Because a well known saying ” A mistake is not called mistake if its done repetadely then its called the stupidity ” , same saying applies on here because we had already given reservation in the education system a lot which lead a negative impact in the case of talent and giving them again promotion is like elimination of talented people from the society and hence an uneducated system so the uneducated country. Because due to reservation many of the talented people cann’t be able to move on as reserved peoples find the platform not because of their talent but beacuse of their reservation ,,and again providing them same criteria in cases of promotion will be the insane work and it will lead only and only an uneducated system & and uneducated peoples are the part of poverty , crimes , terrorism etc. & thus resist the growth of company!
THERE SHOULD BE NO MORE RESERVATION
* WE ALREADY HAVE 54 % RESERVATION IN RAJASTHAN STATE ONLY WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO THE GENERAL CATEGORY.
* IF THERE ARE MORE RESERVATIONS THE GENERAL CATEGORY WILL BECOME A MINORITY.
* BOTH POLITICAL PARTIES SP AND BSP FIGHT FOR JUSTICE OF DALITS BUT ONLY BSP DEMANDS RESERVATION IN PROMOTION AND SP DOESNT CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN THIS????
reservation in promotion is so bed that we should stop it reservation in promotion is benefit only st and sc and they get benefit and promotion should done your qualification and your work experience according to me today also stop reservation in necesarory and need divide cast there actual income and there field income and reservation in our country should be vain and today politicion is done politicine ony reservation which is not good for our country we should think our country and our economy system ok stoppppppppppppppp this it is like evil our country
OMG..!! Everybody is opposing reservation. Just because they can’t see any SC or ST candidate at higher posts. Reservation is not the cause for inequality, infact this is just a right provided to them so that the other people claiming to belong from upper castes could have a equality with them.
Initially reservation aims to uplift the SC/ST, OBC and other backward classes of society who have not enough resources to live a decent life. But now this scenario has totally changed and general caste people are suffering. Most of the high post in government sector are occupied by backward class people and giving them promotion on the basis of reservation to them is like icing on cake. Promotions should be made totally on the basis of their performance not on there caste. Can any one tell why there is need of reservation in promotion? There is already reservation in selection process and hence there is no need for extra. So, I strongly oppose this proposal and it should be discarded without even thinking.
Giving reservation is quite injustice to other people in society. Is it their fault not to be SC/ST. It is totally a violation of human rights i.e “Right to equal opportunities”.
Reservation is one of the most sort after terms in our country. India as a whole is divided in two sections one comprising of those who support it and another of those who are against it. Reservation in promotion is one of the worst cases. Performance should be the barometer for promotion rather than reservation on any other basis. This criteria will not only motivate the individual to work hard but will also create healthy competitive environment. Reservation should only be limited to those people who are economically weak and does not have enough to support themselves. Government should carry out country wide surveys to identify this section of society and take measures accordingly rather than offering reservation to those who lead a luxurious life. Its like stealing bread and butter from needy thereby further crippling them. Moreover it also affect and depresses those who work hard to earn themselves what the deserve
There shouldn’t be any reservation in to the promotion of any sector,
because the promotion is dependent on the ability of the person, if the person have ability to grow up for the post then the person should fight the competition for the post and then promote itself,
reservation in the promotion process is not a good idea ,it is better to believe in yourself, your abilities, your talents and not on the cast you belong to, think it yourself
According to me reservation should be band in india. as we know that from reservation is only for ST/SC . we always hear that we all are equal. but by reservation we are are not equal. specially it happens with the general cast persons.in any compitetion exams and every place ST/SC candidates gets selected. general candidates those who are doing alot of strugles they gets always failur because of reservation .it is not sure that all ST/SC are poor. we know that general cast persons are also poor but they get nothing. according to me if better to remove all reservation completly . beside this if we give reservation for poors of all casts , then everyone has equal rights and its good for our india
reservation is not good for our country overall development and it will make diffrences in sociaty.
