Which Subject I should choose after 10th
Last Updated: Jan 3, 2026
Every year, class 10th students grapple with subject selection under parental pressure, often torn between Science (PCM for JEE/engineering or PCB for NEET/medicine), Commerce, or Arts streams. Choosing PCMB builds a versatile base for competitive exams while keeping options open, but PCM suits math-strong analytical minds aiming for IITs, whereas PCB fits biology enthusiasts targeting medical careers—avoid forcing unrelated paths based solely on prestige. Assess personal strengths through aptitude tests, past performance in boards, and career counseling to align with long-term goals like CBSE class 10th board exam preparation, ensuring sustained motivation over fleeting trends.
