Admissions Procedure for Architecture College in Delhi NCR

B.Arch (Bachelors in Architecture) is a 5-year course,e and most schools and colleges select students through a written test. The Council of Architecture conducts a written aptitude test on an All India basis for admission to colleges of Architecture. Further, on completion of the graduate course, if interested, one can study architecture at the post graduate course which varies from 18 months to 2 years.

The School of Planning and Architecture was established in 1941 and was later affiliated to the University of Delhi. On integration with the School of Town and Country Planning, the college was renamed as School of Planning and Architecture in 1959. It was later declared as “Deemed to be a University”. A site of 20 acres has recently been acquired South of JNU for developing a new campus. Another 20 acres of land adjoining this site is expected to be allotted to the school.
