Population Growth in India: A Problem?
India, on the verge of becoming a developed country, is still a developing one. The reason behind–“OVERPOPULATION”. Coming towards the rural areas, this situation is at hike. The reason behind-“ILLITERACY”. Increasing Population in India is Problem for country has always been a topic of discussion. Today, India is 2nd largest country in terms of population, and it is expected to surpass China by 2025. We are not able to manage our human resources properly. Now a days increasing Population of India is big Problem. The Increasing Population in India without any limit is one of the problems behind the lacking development in the country. India is the second largest country in terms of population.
Drak Side of Population
Illiteracy and lack of awareness creates a thought that having more children, will give a secure future to the parents and the society, but, whats the use if the children themselves do not get the desired facilities? What’s the use if they’ll be a burden for society?
What is the use if they ll not be able to contribute to the welfare and development of the country? The answer lies within. They can serve the country only if they get the desired facilities like food, shelter and most importantly–“EDUCATION”. The prime concern is to literate the people, especially in the rural areas and simultaneously making them aware about the ill consequences of having more children.
The government should allow certain rules regarding families, having more than 2 or 3 children to solve out the problem of Increasing Population in India. The people also should get aware of the birth control measures. Television, radio, newspaper or advertisements etc can be the best source to spread awareness among the people.
Hence, there should be the rising voices and helping hands from all over to eradicate this issue as over population is the main hindrance in the development of a developing country like India because government has to spend more and more money in giving subsidies at the underdeveloped areas.
If India does not control its population very soon we will have problem of feeding this huge population very soon. Either we need to learn to manage human resources quickly, or we need to decrease our population growth rate ASAP. We, as Indian citizens, need to understand our responsibilities. India is a free democratic country; this does not mean that citizens do not have some responsibility.

population is a vital problem in India.because the economical condition of our country is very poor.if the people should not educated they don’t know the proper meaning of population.if the people of our family are not properly planning then the population is increasing.government should take some rule that every citizen have 2 children.if they do not this then the population is more increasing.
India’s increasing population may cause democracy . one family has many children but their parents don’t have sufficient money to buy their foods or to admit a school or to give a proper living life .
Thinking it Government should take proper actions also there are tv,radio advertisement but it’s not controlled.
i think if people think it itself then it will be called healthy country and literate country
Overpopulation, a very popular word which is heard in India from the mouth of a majority of people . These majority of people speaks a lot about what is going on here and there about population. Many of them gives suggestion that this should be done or that should be done. But when it comes to them, they don’t think anything. According to 2011 census India’s Population is around 9.13 Crore and that of world population is around 1.21 billion. Overpopulation is the root cause of every problem which we facing today in India like Corruption, Illiteracy, unemployment. The basic need of a human being is food, shelter and clothes as said in a famous Bollywood movie named as “Roti, Kapda aur Makan”. And to fulfil these basic need everyone is fighting in this world. The resources are fixed but if the population will increase the demand will also increase but we all know that demand can not be increased as resources are limited. So this leads to corruption. For 1 job, today 500 people are competing. So if we can control the population many problems will come to an end. And this can not be controlled by any government, each and every people has to think upon it and change their mentality. Like I have a planning for myself, that I will not have my own baby after marriage, I will adopt a child and make him stand in the world. This is a very small step, but we all know that sea is filled drop by drop.
india is a devoloping country but today india is facing lots of problem to become a developed country.one of the reason is population but i do not thing that this is the major problem.because we see our neighbour country china .today china is the most powerful country.their products rate is increasing day by day.in every area we see that china is going to become no 1.either in millatry power or in other electronicsmaterial. so, we can say it our government policy weekness that they are not able to utilize the resources……
POPULATION is an obstacle in the path of growth.India is a heavily populated country where more than 30% of the total figure is below poverty line.It is very obvious that resources and wealth both for a developing country is limited and should properly be utilized but when the number of people needing resources is more than availability then country faces poverty, unemployment which is a hindrance for a developed country.so,i personally feel to make India a better place to live in we need to increase our literacy rate and lower down our population rate.
increasing population is a not an only major problem ,it is also very dengerous for our country, with increaseing in population they brings lots of thing which is very harm for india like
1 illitrecy
2 poverty
3 polution
4 lack of natural resources
etc
so we should have to control the population of india with the helph of govnt.
We all are know that India is one of the populated country of the world.population is the big problem. day by day it will increasing speedly.
boy children is the measure reason for it.not only village side but also in town area this problem is going on.maximum peoples need boy as there son they not like girls as there son.so after one child if that is a girl they want one more son(boy).so it is the big reason for that.
the poor economic condition is the one more reason for that.i think it must be understand by all of us that boy and girl are same and population is harmfull for ourself, for our country, for this world.
the only method to curb out this problem is general awareness though media , which may be in any medium , and stricts rules such as 1 childs per family , also increasing use of contraceptives buy making them available easily , and with reduced prices
yes,it is one of de biggest problem of de country…de reasn is illiteracy in rural n urban cities n unawareness… So,de prime n first concern is to literate de people, especially in de rural areas nd simultaneously making ’em aware abou de health consequences of having more children.
De Goverment shud luk afta tose thngs n dey shud hav to b strict evn if de ppl dun undrstn…
India is the second largest country in terms of population concernes just lagging behind China by a few margin. There will be a time when India would overtake China. With the surface area being limited in India ,india is losing land for agriculture with it’s people starving .Huge population has resulted in large illiteracy rate across India. There are not enough educational institutions to accommodate such number of students, letting them to be on their own fate.Their is scarcity of resources, but demand for consumption is more.India is unable to cater to the needs of its people.Hence to make our country be counted amongst the developed country ,the population growth soon be checked or we would always be known as the developing one,and not the developed one.
Yes. Increasing population is really a big problem in India. the main reason behind it is illiteracy. So if we have to prevent it, first of all we have to convince all the the people about the bad effects of increasing population it can be done through social media. Until we can stop the rapid growth of population , it is impossible to improve the condition of our nation.
increasing population is off corse an increase in problem for a group in better serving so we should keep an eye after it although goverment is doing it but main responsiblity lies in ourselves to be more and more devloping we should take care of our numbers so that we can noursh ourselves with the resources we have i want to say about better nourshment which we will get after having minimum in numbers to make a batter nation
Yes i also agree that population in india its grow rapidly,it is a big problem.but our country don’t servive sufficent foods, shelter amd others thinks.and illretarecy also incrseing in our country. Many Institution don’t read or learn properly.proper syllabus not include in our subject.
india is suffering for drinking water, job, and place mainly in urban area.increasing population is a big problem which makes the job less to walk on wrong way to make money .the people have to concious about it .prevent it. Population can be turned into a boon for india if we are fully determined to do so.it is a big problem for our country
Over-population is a problem that India is facing. It’s an area at which the Government should take necessary steps to provide Indian people a better future. Illiteracy is one of the issue which is leading towards this problem. Most of the villages dont have proper schools & girls schools are mostly limited to the metros & the towns in India. Government should take proper steps so, that each & every Indian gets proper education. Another problem is that the parents are shy about teaching their childrens about sex-education. In schools also there isnt any subject that provides the going-to-be-future of the country proper klnowledge about sex-education. Large number of people are unemployed now in India only becuase there isnt enough job for them. This is because of over-population. Government should start schemes like providing rewards to the families having 1 or 2 children so that people tend to have 1 or 2 children & fines for those having more than 2. This is a way by which population can be controlled.
Though we are in a critical position as far as the population is coincerned but all is not lost yet. We can improve the condition if the Government takes this issue which is of utmost importance seriously.
India’s increasing population without any limit is one of the problems behind the lacking development. Due to a number hands raising for the daily needs, we dont have the sufficient articles to satisfy them all. now we face the problems like Poverty and other crises. We just need to control it by any ways.
overpopulation is a very big problem in India. This problem has raised many other unsolvable problems like poverty, malnutrition, crisis of many useful things.
In my my opinion, it is very much required for our government to take some serios steps reguading this problem. and the best way to controll the populatin is to create awareness among the people of India.
And this will only happen if they are well educated.
we know that India is still a developing country and the continous increase in population is the one major problem in front of our country because with increasing population illiteracy is also increasing day by day.The reason behind this is that more than 50% of population is below the poverty line and they are not able to survive a good life.Even our government is also aware of everything but they are still not working for them. The head members of the poor family are unable to provide good life or education to their children.
until government not do anything for these poor ones our country will never get fully developed.
Yes overpopulation is a problem in India, but behind this problem there is a vital problem i.e illiteracy and also the job crisis i.e unemployment . if all the youths work and earn their living then this problem would resolve, our government should concentrate and do something regarding this. and also we should be more aware of the fact. In a recent research it is found that there are very few persons in India who even know the alphabates. governments policy like – Mid day mill , and basic education i.e primary education compulsary this really helped to resolve the problem . but still in our country ther are so much corruption which block the improvement of our country. overpopulation can be resolved by creating awarness among us.
Increasing population in India is the bigger problem of India. We all know that India is a big country but that doesn’t mean its population capacity is very high.India is a third world country & it has limited resources in it.It is very difficult to manage a very big population for any country. The effects of this problem can be found easily by us.The price rise, road blocks, violations, illeteracy are the most important problems which every countries have to face which has so much population.
According to my view yes, this problem is major problem in india at this time. Poor family are birth 3-4 children so icrease the population in india. There are no any rules in this major problem. so goverment should be rules this problem.
As per my point of view overpopulation is the bigest side-effect disease in India.
India is the second most populated country in the world after China.
If we draw attention towards the effect of this problem we conclude following–
1. Unemployeement
2. Increasing Crime.
3. Stressful environment due to compact region.
4. Imfation due to consuption of commodities.
Every impact has an reason behind it.
1. Main reason for this problem in India is illiteracy.
2. The secondone is loose migratoin policy of Govt.
3. No proper family planning awareness.
To avoid this govt. should take step like other country to eliminate above causes.
yes, ofcourse the incresing population is very big problem because the maximum problems in india is due to overpopulation it islike a stone in the development of our country because to feed such a huge population so much resourse is needed which as again a problem as its limited which again results in poverty ,then there is a problem of unemployment which give leads to all crimes such as robbery, thieves etc etc and Govenment should take steps to eradicate this problem which can only be solved through education ,government should take steps to give education available to all sectors of society,it should also make a strict rules of having only 1 or maximum 2 child in a family and then only we can get relief of this problem of overpopulation and our country can grow.
Everything has pros and cons. And so is the overpopulation. On the one hand where because of overpopulation many people are not getting even food to survive and similarly on the other hand the growth of bpo industry and spreading of business in India is because of overpopulation. Population can be turned into a boon for india if we are fully determined to do so.
Just One thing that i would like to speak. In west Bengal every year B.tech passout students are searching for a job and they saw that one vacancy created for one thousand students.
