NIFT Entrance Exam Pattern
NIFT stands for National Institute of Fashion Technology and conducts entrance exams for various streams, including Bachelor’s and Master’s programs, for students aiming to build a career in Fashion and Design. In this research, we will discuss the NIFT Entrance Exam Pattern, which often varies and changes over the years. For example, the 2017 NIFT GAT exam pattern was different from the 2016 GAT question pattern, showing how frequently the exam format is updated.

Importance of CAT in NIFT Entrance Exam Pattern
CAT of NIFT is different and its Creativity test . During CAT exam of NIFT two questions are generally asked with few options to choose from . In 2017 question paper of NIFT two questions were asked with 3 options to choose from each and creativity , Innovation and Designing aptitude.
Importance of GAT in NIFT Entrance Exam Pattern
GAT of NIFT is similar to that of what CAT is for management test. During GAT test, NIFT tests general ability of a student. Focus is majorly on English but Maths and Reasoning are also very important part. GAT is qualifying paper and thus if a student does not qualify then his marks of CAT will not be counted. - Business Domain : with 15 questions
- Reasoning : 20 questions
- English : 30 questions
- Quantitative aptitude: 20 questions
- Passages and comprehension : 15 questions
- Genral knowledge & current affairs
During M.Des exam question are increased to 120

How to prepare for NIFT Entrance Exam
Focus on previous year NIFT question papers and practice the designing/CAT section regularly. Many students assume their design skills are already excellent and avoid consistent practice, which reduces their competitive edge.
