Sections of IBPS exam for Law Officer

For the post of Law officers there are four sections. The maximum marks is carried in the section of general awareness about banking information.Descriptions about the sections are described below:-



Quantitative Aptitude

This section is for testing the ability of solving mathematical questions. The topics of the mathematical questions are of class VII to class X. But the quality and standard of the questions are high. Most of the IT officer aspirants find this section to be difficult. His sections comprises of 50 questions which carries 50 marks.

Verbal and Non verbal Reasoning

This section is for testing the mental ability of the candidates. How a candidate thinks and prepares himself swiftly for solving any problem. This is one of the easy sections and candidates must try to focus in this section. It consists of 50 questions of 1 mark each.

English Language

This section comprises of English grammar and the comprehension. This section consists of 50 questions but the total marks allotted for this section is 25. So for every right answer any candidate will be awarded half marks. Candidates must prepare this section well as this section is time consuming with respect to the marks allotted.

General Awareness:-



This section is for examining the knowledge and general awareness of the candidates. Moreover the general awareness is related with the topic of special reference to the banking industry. This section carries 75 marks for 50 questions. For each correct answer one and half marks is awarded.

IBPS SO recruitment full process

The recruitment of the specialist officers by IBPS is being done with an examination and an interview round. The examination round is for identifying and scoring the knowledge, concept, application, aptitude ability, thinking and learning abilities of the candidates. If the candidates have passed and got a good cut off marks then he/she will be selected for the next phase. The next process is interview round where the communication, way of thinking and other personality test along with extent of awareness about the world is being checked. Then the marks for the first round and the second round are added to get the total marks. The people who are getting more than 60% of the total marks get recruited by different banks. The sectional and over all cut off marks of this examination varies from state to state according to the vacancies. So proper learning and proper planning for this exam is required by the candidates. Proper guidance is also another aspect which givves a good flight to the performance of the students.
