Are we Really Good Indian Citizen?
A nagging question has always bothered me why aren’t we Indians better citizens? I’ve often felt disheartened and embarrassed to admit that we fall short of being the responsible citizens we should be To support my views I would like to begin with the politics first. We say we live in a democratic country which means leaders are to be chosen by public votes. And when leaders are chosen by a majority and then any undesirable thing happens we directly and very casually blame them.
We expect the government to do everything for us while our contribution is totally nil. We often blame leaders after they have been chosen because we tend to overlook our own role in selecting them. Instead of taking responsibility for our choices, we shift the blame to the leaders themselves. Instead of taking action to create positive change, we often retreat to our comfort zones with our families and wait for someone else to come along and fix the problems. We gaze out at distant lands, expecting a magical solution to arrive, courtesy of a messianic figure waving a wand.
We always look up the pressure around us, without thinking about the solution. We blame the government for unemployment, hikes in prices, non-management wastes, illiteracy, and so many other things. We expect the government to be aware of our problem and expect them to find a solution. My only question to all of you is “Are we really a good Indian Citizen ? “.

Small Action for A Better Nation
Similarly, if we look towards our duty to keep our surroundings clean. We throw away waste materials haphazardly and expect the government to clean up the garbage. There are so many other small things by which we can help our system to be good and reach to satisfactory level. For example, by helping the needy, taking care of the poor people, by paying taxes at the right time we can do our bit. Just like business requires innovation and the ability to respond to change, so do communities and nations. So we must make it grow and work efficiently.
We must question and debate how to improve society and change inefficient or unjust systems. Parents, educators, and leaders can instill patriotism and national commitment in kids and youth. Let’s encourage the youth to take responsibility, lead, and tackle tomorrow’s challenges. Please feel free to write your views/opinions in the comment section.

we are the good indian citizens but really the number of these kind of peoples are very less.because a good citizens should follow the traffic rules,should follow the limited use of resources,and should underestand the importance of little things in our daily life.like consumption of light,use of water,and not think that if he is not follow the rules then y i?this is the lowest thinking of peoples.so if one start the good work then according to the single one another start the good work.so we r the good citizens but we just have to know how.?just one right person have to give the right way to another that yes this is the way to be a good citizen.then we will be good indian citizens.

We are neither good nor bad citizen of india because we are good in some manner and also bad in some ways.
i want to say the indian culture are being followed by foreigners too. this is really a good things but we are so bad in awareness about our country. we spit on the roads and make our own country dirty. we are far behind the other countries because we are having very poor condition in health, education, socialism and corruption because of lack of awareness in indian citizen in these particular areas of improvement.
so as far as i am concern about this topic indian citizen should have to aware in every areas of development of the nation.
I STRONGLY BELIEVE THAT WE ARE NOT THE GOOD CITIZENS OF INDIA…..WE ARE NOT DELEVERING OUR ACTUAL CONTRIBUTION AND DUTY TOWARDS OUR COUNTRY…..WE ALWAYS WANTS TO LIVE OUR LIFE IN COMFORT WITH LOTS OF AMMENITIES.AND EVEN WE FACE A SINGLE PROBLEM THEN WE CURSE THE SYSTEM OF INDIA….. WHO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS SYSTEM?……ACTUALLY WE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THAT POOR SYSTEM OF OUR COUNTRY……ANY SYSTEM OF ANY COUNTRY IS THE OUTPUT OF THEIR CITIZEN’S PARTICIPATION IN THE SYTEM….. SO OUR SYSTEM WILL BECOME BAD OR GOOD IS ALL IN OUR HANDS…….BUT FORGETING OUR CONTRIBUTION IN OUR COUNTRY AND REAL PROBLEMS THAT FACING OUR COUNTRY……..WE ARE FOCUSSING ON OUR PERSONAL ISSUES……WE ARE ALWAYS READY TO DO CONFLICTS ON THE BASIS OF RELIGION,CASTE, COMMUNITY,TRIBES……BUT WE NEVER EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT HOW TO MAKE OUR CONTRIBUTION FOR MAKING OUR COUNTRY DEVELOP……..EVEN WE ARE NOT DOING RIGHT USE OF OUR ELECTION VOTES………WE SHOULD BE AWARE OF THE CANDIDATE’S BACKGROUND AND HIS IMAGE IN A SOCIETY…..BECAUSE THEY ARE THE PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR OUR WELFARE IN THE GOVERMENT……BUT WE DO VOTE JUST AS A FORMALITY NOT AS A RESPONSIBILITY…….AND WHEN THAT WRONG CANDIDATE GOES TO GOVERMENT HE/SHE WEAKENS THE SYSTEM BY MAKING IT CORRUPT……….ARE WE THE SAME PEOPLE FOR WHOM GANDHIJI AND BHAGAT SINGH FOUGHT FOR THE FREEDOM?WE ARE MAKING OUR COUNTRY WEAK DAY BY DAY DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY…….WE ARE THE PEOPLE WHO FOR THEIR OWN BENEFITS MAKES THE COUNTRY’S ECONOMIC DEVELOPEMENT WEAK BY NOT PAYING TAXES,DOING BLACK MARKETING,ETC………SO LASTLY I CONCLUDE BY SAYING THAT ITS ALL IN OUR HANDS WHETHER MAKE OUR COUNTRY DEVELOPED OR UNDEVELOPED……SO BECOME GOOD AND RESPONSINLE CITIZEN OF INDIA AND SHOW YOUR PARTICIPATION IN IT…………..
From my point of view different kind of persons are living in our nation, the basic responsibilities starts from how we treat the women who may be our daughter,sister ,wife,daughter-in-law. to be good citizen means to help the people if someone got hurted in any accident on crowded area road lots of people dont feel essential to follow the ethics that have been taught them by their parents and just keep on doing their work whereas there are some persons they even left their job interview to make them hospitalised. We ought to follow our moral duties that starts from throwing small amount of garbage into dustbin instead of on the road.We need to follow our moral duties which will result as developed country containing glorious citizens fulfilling the vision 2020 of AbdulKalamAzad.finally i would conclude that each and everyone ought to help each other in various aspects of life.
I don’t think so.. because we people are not physically & mentally in support in being a part of our culture
as well as we are also not obedient to our society it must asked by every person that what you have done

I think that we are not a good indian citizen because we all have a tendency to blame easily on the govt. and other for everything which is wrong with us.
when we here about any rape case we can easily blame on police and govt. for this and after this we never think about on any kind of solution for this. and never change our mindset ,this is not a solution of these kind of problem. same problem is with us in every field like crime sector and corruption system.
we know that how to blame on others but never think about the solution for that.
we became the part of corruption after the joining in the same sector where we are already faced the corrupt system.so t i can say that we are not a god indian citizen.

because of the following reasons:-
when something gone wrong we started blaming other’s .
when someone needs help, people does’t help them.
when someone needs money specially poor one, people doesn’t give them any money.
as the part of the country every people should vote but they don’t..
many of them doesn’t care about cleaniness of the country.
and causing many problems which are harmful for them as well as for other’s
actually peoples are running away from their responsibilty towards the nation.
The nation can’t be run without the contribution of citizen’ s of a country..it our responsibilty to contribute in development of our country by fulfilling our duties.
To be a good citizen first we have to be a good person by that i mean full of values principles,ethics etc.we join all these aspects together we will find out that there is nothing else to be needed.
one important aspect for being a good citizen is to help people .All around us ,we can see that there is always in need people in need for help. Our job has a good citizen is to help those kind of people.Remember that little action makes the difference.
Another important thing we have to being a good citizen is to have an active participation in our community .There are lot of way we can do that.We should fulfill our duties towards society such as actively responsible to works election.
I think are the most important aspect for being a good citizen in side a community to exposed some ideas. now a day,s the relation ship between people have been really deteriorated by miss understanding that generated day by day to avoid having to deal with these kind of situation we have to be aware that the solution is in us. Values and ethics should be inculcated to people as they mature,as that kind of information will built them for being good citizen.

i dont think so. to be a good citizen 1st we really need to change our mentality . Today we r filled with jealousy,ego,self respect and we boast for serving our nation. we really need to change our vision. just by liking some pictures of soldiers on social networking sites and respecting our leaders we cant be a good citizen.

Are we really a good Indian Citizen?
To be a good citizen, we need to be involved in the country’s development process. Also, we should respect people’s property, religion, emotions and their culture. We need to know what’s happening in our country. If we’re a good citizen, the country will be a better place to live. It’s important to know what’s happening in our country. At least that’s what a good citizen would do. We should know what’s happening whether it’s good or bad. We should take part in the public affairs as well. That’s why it’s important to be involved in the country’s politics as well as the development of the society.
But there is a question does we really mean it?
Why we are not talking about the issues which are related with the society not directly with us?
Why we think that it is not related with us so we don’t need to look after?
Why we ignores when it is related to others?
Some of the issues which are happening amongst our society but we ignore them, one of them are- When a girl is going to her school, some group of boys are harassing her, we are watching these things but we are not opposing it. Why because it is not related to our families. Is this the face of good Indian citizens? We use to tell each other that we can die for our country, but if we can not oppose a group of people how can we oppose a country if they attack our country. We are fighting with each other based on community, religion and money. But we are never fighting against the issues which are related to our environment, education as well as the serious matter together. We are also not taking parts in the elections. We are shouting for a change, for a better India, an India where we can live happily. But when it comes to perform we are lacking that. We thinks that a single person’s effort alone cannot makes an effect, but we forgets that we are the power of the country, If every person will start thinking than there will be a change which never came since last 60 years of independent. We should take part in elections for a better leader to lead the country. We should choose the government which looks after us. This we can do only when we will vote. We should never ignore our responsibility. We love our country and it’s we who can make our country feel proud by our good efforts and work. Whatever we are doing is indirectly related to our country. It reflects our country’s image to the world. Indians are always a lover of the country and will be ever because we love our country as we do with our mother. Though there are some issues which we have to sort out together and then we can really say proudly that yes “We are a good citizen of India and are proud of that”.
IT is the year of 2012. In other words we can say that we that are living in high cultured, developing nation .Is it true? I don’t think so. Every nation feels proud of her citizens having moral character and behaviour. To become an ideal citizen he should be a man of “service” and “sacrifice”. It is the first and foremost duty of an ideal citizen to pay the whole time attention for his beloved “motherland”. Now put a question to ourselves what have i done for my society? Any service or sacrifice ? These are common behavioural traits which are in built inside us. Now the situation is like that we are unable to apply it properly; we all are made “selfish”. We are only happy with our desires and its fulfilments and never put our eyes on others desires. As we know that a society is a combination of every kind of people with different professions. In daily life we have full of problems . In order to get recovery from it we try our best. Like this our society have also various problems and we have to solve it ourselves by assuming that it’s my society and i am part of it. so i have to solve its problems by myself. If all will behave familiar and also take the responsibility of the society then we can made a “heavenly society” as wel as a “golden India”. So, we all need a “jan jagaran”
No we are not a good citizen of our country, we just think of ourselves not about a single issue about the nation at all
