Should we have Age Limit or Retirement for Politicians?
According to my point of view there should be an age limit. In our country every field have some retirement age, but in politics no such age limit is there. Generally it has been seen that at the age of 55-60 a person becomes lazy and many health problems engulfs.At that span of time he loses his capability to think more effectively. As we know politicians are very crucial and important part of our country. So politicians should have retirement age.
Old is gold,is this true for politics so far?
I feel it is good to give youth more opportunities because they are full of ideas and are energetic to their tasks. Youth are full of passion and they have capability to work with zeal and confidence. They are fresh minded and can take right decision. The decision taken by young person is dynamic. If there willbe age limit then young generation will get chance to prove themselves. Now a day’s more than 90 % of Indian politicians are above 60. Just because there is no age limit, a politician continues to do his job until he is alive. I know they have experience but after a certain age limit they are not able to work so effectively which automatically lowers the development of our country. Due to lack of job opportunities many youngsters are going to foreign countries for higher education or in seek of good job. Youth should be given opportunity in politics. If there will be age limit of 60 years for politicians and they won’t be allowed to work beyond this age many of the young people will get chance to work and do some good steps to improve our nation . So that there may be chance of change in corrupted politics and make our country corruption free and developed. Politicians would need to retire notonly because they are physically unable to cope with the rigors of this demanding career, but because they feel that they have done a bit for the country. So I suggest that the age limit should be restricted up to age of 60.

inmy opinion there should be an age limit. In our country every field have some retirement age, but in politics no such age limit is there. Generally it has been seen that at the age of 55-60 a person becomes lazy and many health problems engulfs. At that span of time he loses his capability to think more effectively. As we know politicians are very crucial and important part of our country. So politicians should have retirement age. Yes I think there should be an age limit for the retirement of the politians because..as the politians come in power..in the begining some of them have a spirit of doing good for the society..but after a long time they lose that spirit and become habitual and addicted to the filthy character of politics.
They are exposed to the various wrong acts such as corruption… and ultimately they are of no use for the nation.
So there must be an age limit for the retirement of politians..!
I think, yes there should be an age limit for for politicians because being on one chair for their whole life is not good for the country as well as for the youth. As youth is more interactive and have many innovetive ideas to run the country or to any nation. Youth should given a chance to get selected in poltitics and the politicians should retire after the agr of 55 or 60, as it happen in other jobs. The retirement procedure or the age limit should be their because young people are more towards new ideas and can work according to the people.
Very necessary point , in my opinion , there should be strict enforcement of age limit in politics . A valid point to this is generally a normal human being has different efficiencies is at different period of life time of working. A 30 yr old man can work more efficiently than a 60 yr old man. Apart from working efficiently ,its about the new ideas and thoughts required for a country to work properly. So in politics a age limit should be implemented to welcome young aspiring minds and new technology so that india can have a growth in terms technology and economy…

In the major sectors there is always a retirement age for a person. There is a reason behind this policy. A person’s physical activity and thinking power decreases as he gets older. In the scenario where there is a need of quick thinking or a hectic physical activity, a person with older age will not be able to respond with full comittment. It is a human fact.
This very truth applies to the politics also. We can have a multiple examples of the persons of younger age who proved to be a good politician and a good leader. The best example is the Barack Obama, the president of the United States. Being a young politician will not only be popular aming the youth, which is the largest community among all others but also will be a quick thinker and a quick responder that will be helpful to take the decisions more effectively.
If in case an age limi is decided for the politicians, after retirement, they can share their political knowledge to their young generations and can act as the back end of the politics, younger politicians being the front end.
From my point of view there should be a age limit for politicians because every department has a age limit So WHY NOT FOR POLITICTIANS?
How can the new generation can work for the development of the country . They also have innovative ideas . We have to give chance to the new generation . As every person has a limit of working efficiently. old politicians can’t work effectively.

No, there must not be an age limit for retirement of politicians. We can certainy say that aged people know about the situation in the past as well as the present and deciding on these factors they can seek towards the future needs as well, it is also a fact age does not deteorate the intelligency of a person.
We can have a well defined example of Mahatma Gandhi , being at his old age he changed the scenerio of the present and gave a secured future of the people.
But this does not mean that youth cannot be given a chance , youth must be checked while giving them such control over the country.
A person who does not fit or say cannot solve the arising problems should not be allowed to come into politics ,it does not matter how young or old he or she is .
Moreover, advice of an experienced person might be of some use to the young. The old politicians should be put in some advisory board that may guide the young and inexperienced according to their abilities.
So in my opinion, no ,there should be an age -restriction, young should be allowed according to their capabilities and must be given equal chance, and the old politicians should make an advisory board that can guide the young.
yes it think that we must have an age limit for politicitons. This is because in india we have politicians only to earn money and doing time pass.If we see other countries like uk ertc we see that aal the ministers present there are young. So they can employ their new innovative ideas to the progreess of the nation. But in india we mostly have old ge people who are harldly interested in politics.
So in my opinion we must employ an age limit so that young generation may come up and put their new ideas forward
We have to be as modern to consider the fact that a young person can also handle the politics. Yes there should be age limit for politicians as the young people has more innovative ideas and views for any situation.For example. as every one has seen the famous movie ” nayak ” in there also anil kapoor has handled the country very well. Our youngsters didn’t get chance in politics, youngsters are full of creativity,talent and of new ideas.
For betterment, instead of age limit we should better suggest for retirements on health baasis because there are certain unhealthy youths as well as many healthy old leaders.Moreover proper selection of people on the basis of their health, knowledge etc. will surely work much better than retiring them at some age limit

According to me this totally depends on the mind of the particular person. There are some polititions in India who are working well and their age is above 65 like Mr. Narendra Modi. Politics needs experience and the capability to handle with the different situations. Atal Bihari Vajapi was also a great politition and besides his age he does very good job in the development of India as a prime Minister.
Also the old people have experience. There are many examples where we get that the aged people done excellent work for the growth of the nation instead of their ages.

I don’t think that age has to do much with one’s political carrier as we see that many of the posts having higher responsibility are occupied by senior citizens and it is fair enough as they have gained much experience through their lives which would help them to take right decisions in favour of our country But at the same time I also agree with the fact that young people should be given fair chance to prove their worth in Politics as Young People are the future of our country and if they are not given enough chances then it would prove to be a great loss.
Politicians must have some age limit because in our country we have politicians that can’t even walk, talk or are admitted in hospitals, how will these people lead the nation or how will they contribute in any way towards the growth of the country. I don’t know why such special privileges are given to politicians, when we have an age limit in every job or field, then why not politics? We need young and aspiring minds that will become the future leaders of the nation who have new ideas. To make way for the young ones, the old ones who cant contribute to the nation because of the health and other issues, must retire. We all know that every human weakens with age, so do politicians, so they must be given rest.

Now a days we can see that more than 80% politicionb are above 60.
they are not stronger than our new ganaration. They became lazy and they actually don’t know What next generation want.
If age limit will define, then after 60 they got retirenment and youth get chance.
And because of this youth have lot of job oppourtunity in politics.

as far as i am concern,the age limit should be there because the older people are not aware about the latest technologies and they are not take good decision after the age because they think as a older generation.

In my point of view, it is a social work & for that there is no age limit . For society if someone is really dedicated to his responsibility then he can do his work in any of his age.
1. We have two groups of peoples consisting of young and old. The young are newly, having more efficiency to work, more passionate and fresh minded. They have fast tendency to react to any decision.
2. Secondly we have old, I do not go for the statement that old is gold because the gold is gold only and cannot be compared to any age group, the work should be gold whether it is accomplished by young or old. But the thing is there, the old are having an immense experience of life, decision, work, they will surely think ten times to take any work to be done out in a positive aspect as they might have had gone through it earlier.
That is why old is needed with the young too. So there should be no retirement.
I support the idea of having age limit in politics as our youth has lot of new ideas and thoughts regarding new flow of change in democracy. They give new direction of thinking, taking decisions. Diversity should be maintained as youth is hot blooded and older persons are cold blooded but bloods are equally important for the progress of country. Youth are full of ideas and are energetic, active, can work in hectic environmental condition but lacks in experience. And just opposite in older politicians the are lethargic, less active and cannot work in hectic environment but they have vast knowledge which cost too much to our country. Actually politicians work in very responsible task and we have to represent our country in world. So using activeness ideas as well as experience can improve the conditions of country and helpful to citizens as well as our country.
yes their should be an age limit for politicians because we should have to give chance to youngsters also !! as we know that the first person of country is president so their should be an age limit for president because age refers to thought differences and a youngster can surely perform a better work as compared to an aged person . an aged person cannot think upto that perspective an an youngster can think
We have to be as modern to consider the fact that a young person can also handle the politics. And there should not be any age restriction in this.
The age should not be the criteria the persons qualification and his presence of mind, experience should be the criteria.
Atal bihari Bajpee and narender modhi are to aged persons but they proved to be the great politicians their loss will be big, i think the command of India should be in the hands of experience hands only so, their should be not be any rule of age limit.
There is a lot of difference between a younster and elderly peoples.Youngsters are comperatively hot blooded and an excited bunch of fallow, probably have a dream to contribute more than that of elders
Thinking process, hardworking capabilities also ages with the time and once age. Politicians have a huge responsibility of millions of people, so it has to be a enthusiastic and morden world acceptable and compatible. Aged person should not be on the elected posts and only their experiences should be used.. And many new candidates should be given the chance as they can have new ideas and passion to hard work..

Retirement or age limit should also be the same for politicians…. as youth today is much much smarter and can get more ideas to tackle the problems…. its good to have the experienced parliament so as to have the better results… but still in my views i think the youth should be given chance to deal with it… n it can be under the guidance of the experienced one…. so that he can be taught n which will be much more beneficial for our wealth… As for an example Atal Bihari Vajpai and Narendra Modi…. still doing their best for the betterment of the nation…. they should be considered n should guide the youth….!!!!

yes offcourse it should be necessary b’coz you know that the Indian politics is a like a loop wholes. their is a chance but not totally utilized by youngsters. b’coz as usually we know that if any youngster wants to enetr in the politics their are no kind to grow the moral of him just b’coz of some many power full polititians which are misused his power and money. so now , it would be necessary to be their a age limit or retirement deadline. and also needs to reduce the age criteria to enter in the politics as point of view of youngsters. b’coz i think we are understands better about our country and related problems. and i want their be chance to taken a reference from our seniors to help and sort out our probs which are occur.
