Should we have Age Limit or Retirement for Politicians?
According to my point of view there should be an age limit. In our country every field have some retirement age, but in politics no such age limit is there. Generally it has been seen that at the age of 55-60 a person becomes lazy and many health problems engulfs.At that span of time he loses his capability to think more effectively. As we know politicians are very crucial and important part of our country. So politicians should have retirement age.
Old is gold,is this true for politics so far?
I feel it is good to give youth more opportunities because they are full of ideas and are energetic to their tasks. Youth are full of passion and they have capability to work with zeal and confidence. They are fresh minded and can take right decision. The decision taken by young person is dynamic. If there willbe age limit then young generation will get chance to prove themselves. Now a day’s more than 90 % of Indian politicians are above 60. Just because there is no age limit, a politician continues to do his job until he is alive. I know they have experience but after a certain age limit they are not able to work so effectively which automatically lowers the development of our country. Due to lack of job opportunities many youngsters are going to foreign countries for higher education or in seek of good job. Youth should be given opportunity in politics. If there will be age limit of 60 years for politicians and they won’t be allowed to work beyond this age many of the young people will get chance to work and do some good steps to improve our nation . So that there may be chance of change in corrupted politics and make our country corruption free and developed. Politicians would need to retire notonly because they are physically unable to cope with the rigors of this demanding career, but because they feel that they have done a bit for the country. So I suggest that the age limit should be restricted up to age of 60.

So ,the conclusion is there should be retirement for the politcians.
the more they grow ,more they loose the leadership quality .
the new generation shuold get chance for elections ,to become an leader or minister to run the country with leadership quality .

my point of view on this topic there should be a age limit for retirement for politicians.because if there is no age limit of retirement max age of people are stand in politics and there is no chance for youth.
in the our goverment there are many of aged people are in the goverment and youth are not involved to this.
thats why youth are not involved in plitics as well . so if we want to progressive india there should be a age limit for retirement.

Yes ‘I totally agree that, a politician has to have a retirement age, because politicians are very crucial and imperative towards the country. Generally after the age of 50 a person becomes lazy, inculcates many health problems and as they loose there capability to think more effectively and work more positively. And I thing that it is good to give youths more opportunities than giving an aged person because youths are full of ideas and are energetic in their task.
As we know that there is some limited age till a person can work well. If a person who is more than 60 is hyper for a small things. He is angry for very small things . At that age person is not able to work well.
This same thing is for a Polictician , there must be age limit for the Retirement of an politician .
some more regions are,
elder people are not think straight forward .They are diplomatic like. so There is a lot of difference between a younster and elderly peoples.youngsters are comperatively hot blooded and an excited bunch of fallow, probably have a dream to contribute more than that of elders.
youngsters are less diplomatic and more straight forward whereas the opposite case is just vice-versa.
According to me the age limit must be there, A politician cant work till his/her death. Politician must have the age limit above 25 and below 65.Science had proved that after some age limit the human thinking gets low he/she cant have the same memory power as had earlier and also proved that the people have a best working and sharp mind in its age limit and it also does not depend on the work experience. age limit is necessary because in every govt department there is an age limit . but in politics there is no age limit .

From my point of view ,retirement for every person in every field is necessary because everyone needs rest after a certain age.
we in this scenario ,seeing that changes are coming rapidly and the good thing is people are also adopting it quickly,so if a person with old thinking would continue to work,clashes will occur between the new generation and the government,so to deal with it,new people should come into picture and make changes such as enforcing lokpal bill .
the recent issues which are coming like Delhi gang rape case ,people are asking for justice but government is taking a lot of time this ia also a major issue with old people.
Yes i totally agree that there should be some age limit for the politician. In our constitution there is no retirement age for politician and that is what the politician was politician , is politician and will be politician forever .
We can take the example of Congress who dominates India when the India Got Independent.
And now they get such a power that no one can replace them untill some momemt like by Anna Hazare will not occur.
Also new generation comes with new thoughts and Ideas and this will be very beneficial for every one.
Discarding the fact the more work give more experience ,,,the indian goverment decided the age limit for every departmet wheather it teacher, doctor, judge, commisionar etc. Then why don’t they decide age limit for themselves also. AS experienced teacher can give more knowledge to the student but he also retired from his post then why not poliAtician. So according to me they must be retired from his post also

We have to be as modern to consider the fact that a young person can also handle the politics. And there should not be any age restriction in this. As every one has seen the famous movie ” nayak ” in there also anil kapoor has handled the country very well then that corrupt politician.

As there is a retirement age in every job profile in our country then why should this field be left . As we all are aware that the common reason given for the retirement in different professions is that the services are no longer required as the vision and the inventory of the top brass is no longer able to give a better direction to the organization then WHAT ABOUT THE POLITICIANS WHICH ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE GROWTH OF THE COUNTRY AND ITS BILLIONS OF CITIZENS , A NEW THOUGHT PROCESS IS REQUIRED AND FOR THAT THERE SHOULD BE A RETIREMENT AGE IN POLITICS.
the age limit should not have for politicians because., it is practically proved that more experience in politics , more beneficial for politician . the politics is a deep and dangerous and deep sea , it requied more practice of swimming like that to guide the new people in the politics senior politician should be present in this field.
According to me, “Youth is not useless youth is usedless” & there must be a certain age limit & one more thing as we said Old is gold – is good & applicable only for some things. In India & in Politics it has become ‘Too old is gold’. Only ‘old’ is good & better, but ‘too old’ is too much & that is why Indian politics is going directionless. Young politicians are very good & brilliant in tackling the political issues as compared to their older/elder politicians.
Also there should be age limit fixed after which he should be retired.
As oldman stick to their comfort zone rather than venture out, they tend to project their times, their homes and places that may alienate them from people who are different. They lose their appeal electorally and politically. You must get along with people. ‘In order to get along go along!’
Example: I have a friend who’s sister in law recently died of Alzheimer’s. She was 52. My father-in-law was still as smart as a whip until age 89, then started to decline rather rapidly. It depends on the genes you were born with.
In my opinion, yes politician should have age limit or retirement because as we know all kind of job it could be private or governments.every politician also have a certain limit on which they can stop their working.at the old age they are not able to hard work n also they could be face many kind of problem in the old age like weakness, less activeness etc.
that’s why they are also not make new ideas and creative fact to development country .
To build a better infrastructure politician should be travel in different country that old politician can’t do.so in the politics a certain age limit and retirement should be apply soon.that’s it.

I think there should be some age limit for the retirement of politicians because everyone should get chance to show their innovations,creativity,decision making skills and leadership quality.As old persons does not think in a way as today’s youth will think and also they are not so much energetic as youths.Old age politicians also will not create any type of bond with young persons and do not understand their emotions easily.If there is any youth in politics then he will take decisions which is quite favorable for youth’s life which in turn will result a good development of our country.As we also know that old persons will have their health problems and they are also not so active for performing their duties.they do not take decisions actively.

i think age limit will be considered for retirement of politicians because young people and middle-aged person can take right decision..

One important line is there that More experience more sucess. I do not think that there should be age limit in politicians. Matter is not that experinced or aged people can not take good decision. Expericed people have both aspect political knowledge also corruption knowledge. They can be give better views about systems.It not be must that Younger politicians could think different impotrtance is that politicians should not be corrupted.
Yes it is true that younger politicians can think accordingly youth’s life and youth’s problem. Such an example youth against raped crime in our country. I think both combination musr be in our politicians.
Problem in our politics is that nobody corruption free. So condition is not improving.
There should be have a retirement for all the politicians. Because :-
1) They have experience but they may not be able to take actions during some social things.
2) Many young politicians should get chance to bring out the technologies.
3) Young politicians are more qualified and they have ability to take decision more faster they like to take RISKS and see the results.
4) Many other new platforms are known or aware to young politicians so they can better be able to deal with it and make it more useful.
5) Young politicians are able to handle and answer the young generations more friendly.
So there should be age limit for retirement for all the politicians and give chances to all the young politicians.

Surely in my opinion there must be an age restriction for the politicians because this only the way the youth can be given the chance that they deserve.As according to the government rules age of 60 is considered as the age for retirement so this rule must also be implied on the politicians.As after the retirement of those politician youth can be given the chance and which will definitely help to bring the fresh ideas and moral values that every nation strive for.
If there is no retirement age this would definitely create a havoc in the difference of mentality of the two generation and this could proved to be fatal for nation’s achievement.
yes there should be age limit in the politics since youth have more innovative ideas and they work with more zeal and enthusiasm. As youth can understand needs of today’s generation more easily and appropriately.
