Should we have Age Limit or Retirement for Politicians?
According to my point of view there should be an age limit. In our country every field have some retirement age, but in politics no such age limit is there. Generally it has been seen that at the age of 55-60 a person becomes lazy and many health problems engulfs.At that span of time he loses his capability to think more effectively. As we know politicians are very crucial and important part of our country. So politicians should have retirement age.
Old is gold,is this true for politics so far?
I feel it is good to give youth more opportunities because they are full of ideas and are energetic to their tasks. Youth are full of passion and they have capability to work with zeal and confidence. They are fresh minded and can take right decision. The decision taken by young person is dynamic. If there willbe age limit then young generation will get chance to prove themselves. Now a day’s more than 90 % of Indian politicians are above 60. Just because there is no age limit, a politician continues to do his job until he is alive. I know they have experience but after a certain age limit they are not able to work so effectively which automatically lowers the development of our country. Due to lack of job opportunities many youngsters are going to foreign countries for higher education or in seek of good job. Youth should be given opportunity in politics. If there will be age limit of 60 years for politicians and they won’t be allowed to work beyond this age many of the young people will get chance to work and do some good steps to improve our nation . So that there may be chance of change in corrupted politics and make our country corruption free and developed. Politicians would need to retire notonly because they are physically unable to cope with the rigors of this demanding career, but because they feel that they have done a bit for the country. So I suggest that the age limit should be restricted up to age of 60.

I am of the view that there should be age limit for politicians as the young people has more innovative ideas. In our country every field have some retirement age, but in politics no such age limit is there. Generally it has been seen that at the age of 55-60 a person becomes lazy and many health problems . At that span of time he loses his capability to think more effectively. As we know politicians are very crucial and important part of our country. So politicians should have retirement age. I feel it is good to give youth more opportunities because they are full of ideas and are energetic
yes there should be age limit for politicians as the young people has more innovative and they should be given the chance to come in politics .young people are the future of the country and they can give more develope the country . and lead the country in a better way .young people can do more hard work
than the retirement people so there should be the retirement in politics
from my point of view age limit for politicians. A person who does not fit or say cannot solve the arising problems should not be allowed to come into politics ,it does not matter how young he is.
new ideas are also important so according to me after a certain age politicians should take retierment and then guide the new ones to work in better direction.thinking of old age leaders is according to their generation but this time is of modern technology

In a same way we people think that Politicians are not able to govern country properly as many of them are too old. But in reality governing a country is as toughf task as riding a bicycle first time. Its easy to take decision for ourself but taking a decision from country point of view is not at all a easy task.
Think of a sitatution, 30 year old person is a Defence Minister and he get to know that Terrorist had hijaked an Aircraft in which 200 passangers are there and terrorist demanded of realising 5 other terrorist. Arm force is ready to attack but probability of saving all the passangers is less. At a same time he see 1000 of people of other Political party standing outside his office protesting against him. At this point of time what you think who will take better decision a 30 year old new MInister or a well experence 60 or above aged person.
Overning a country is not at all a easy task and one can govern as better as much he is experence.
the age limit is use full in the politics because the younger have no chance to represent there ideas and itself. because the younger have new creative ideas in there mind and the education factor is also include in the politics . the age is must be 60 years and after that the retirement . age factor is different different for the the post in politics so in the politics there are some young person and some experience person is worked together so the working is good for the people.
Yes, there should be an age limit for politicians in politics, as it also proved by the doctors that after the age of 65-70 years our brain doesn’t work sharply as in young age. As well as we are having age limit in our Government jobs and in judiciary system, than why not we should have age limit in politics. We always tell that we are having the most powerful young brigade in this world, than why we should not have the right to join politics as the time is right to join politics and eliminate the corruption from it. We thought the young brigade do not have enough knowledge for joining politics, so the old and experience politics should join hands with us, and tell us the right and wrong of politics and slowly give the power in our hand, so we can use it in right way.

I fully support this idea of having age limit in politics. we have to be as modern to consider the fact that a young person can also handle the politics. there should be an age limit for retirement of politicians so that young generation get a chance.I think age should be 70 so that there will be a balance in the parliament. As if youth will be as leader,then there will be safe responsibility on them and they can move towards new ideas. They themselves can work very fast and effectively. In this modern technology, we need a new ideas having leader.
according to my side there should be an age limit and retirement should be there.In our country we will see that one politician whole life will be spend in politic and the other one can get the chance to do something for our country so age limit should be there.So politicians should have retirement age.The retirement age should 50-55% I think so.So, the leaders who have crossed a certain age limit because other new generation age can get the chance.The new generation get known the old person well……
I my opinion diversity should be maintained as youth is hot blooded and older persons are cold blooded but bloods are equally important for the progress of country. Youth are full of ideas and are energetic, active, can work in hectic environmental condition but lacks in experience. And just opposite in older politicians the are lethargic, less active and cannot work in hectic environment but they have vast knowledge which cost too much to our country. Actually politicians work in very responsible task and we have to represent our country in world. So using activeness ideas as well as experience can improve the conditions of country and helpful to citizens as well as our country.
Say for example budget preparation is an important task and youth alone cannot prepare well it needs experience as well as future thoughts which is possessed by older politicians. So I want to say that there should age for retirement of older politicians only from active politics not from politics completely.
They should be in committees and advisory council to guide youth to be a better politician and help youth to excel in there work.
i think there can not be any kind of age limit for the retirement of the politicians because on increasing age experience also increases so aged politicians can lead the country well and aged people done excellent work for the growth of the nation instead of their ages wisdom also increases with the ages and critical decisions can be only taken through deep thinking and our past experience so there can not be any age limit
In a country where the principal of a college is retired at 65, because he/she is considered old to run the college and manage the administrative work. The same country allows a person to run the nation at 80! This is really not justified.
According to my mind i don’t think there is age limit .Because there is no age for social work .
The older person has more experiences in comparison. so i don’t think that should be age limit in politics.

No, i do not think so that there should be a age limit for politicians as we know that leading a country requires experience that a older witty person has.At young age we are physically fit so we can provide our services to some more physical task.We can take the example of Narendra Modi he is leading Gujrat efficiently at an age of 62(approx) so i think we need a person having a experience.

As at certain age the ability to think new idea decrease therefore if the politician are not aged than they can think different and innovative idea for the better meant of country economy
but since in India there is no age limit for politician in India therefore it affect the country welfare as the age of individual increase then the person become lazy and ill.

Aged politician only thing in fixed small criteria and for country development but since it is necessary to think in much and broad mind..

in my point of view the age limit is not necessary for the politician membership,because the older person have some experience and they have more imagination power to take a decision as compared to young people.this is mentioned in the experiment by the scientiest .
in politician the experience as well as innovating power is very important for a developing country

YES, THERE SHOULD BE AGE LIMIT OF RETIREMENT FOR POLITICIANS AS THE PERSON AFTER CERTAIN AGE BECOMES OUT OF WORK AND COULD NOT GIVE HIS OR HER SERVICES UP TO THAT EXTENT.
OF COURSE OLD BLOOD COULD NOT COMPETE WITH THE FRESH AND NEW BLOOD. AFTER THE AGE OF 55 OR 60 MAKES THE PERSON THINK OTHER WAY AND NOT ACTIVE IN HIS/HER WORK .
HOWEVER, EDUCATED YOUTH OF TODAY’S WORLD KNOWS BETTER TECHNIQUES AND IDEAS WHICH IS VERY ESSENTIAL FOR THE DEVELOPMENT AND GROWTH OF THE COUNTRY. THEREFORE ,THERE SHOULD BE A SPECIFIC AGE LIMIT FOR IT.

Since, in every field there is an age limit so the same should be there for politicians. Because after a certain age the ability of thinking new ideas decreases. If the politicians are not of more then they can think for innovative and different ideas for the betterment of the country.
But in India there is no certain age limit for politicians which in effect the country’s welfare. Because as the age of an individual increases then the person becomes lazy and ill. So, if a person himself is not well then how can he take the decision for the welfare of whole country.

yaa i agree with the term… there should be an age limit in politics,,, politicians did not work till the end of his/her death.. the age limit should be between 30 to 40 because they understand what the youngsters want and what the older thinks…
