Are we Really Good Indian Citizen?
A nagging question has always bothered me why aren’t we Indians better citizens? I’ve often felt disheartened and embarrassed to admit that we fall short of being the responsible citizens we should be To support my views I would like to begin with the politics first. We say we live in a democratic country which means leaders are to be chosen by public votes. And when leaders are chosen by a majority and then any undesirable thing happens we directly and very casually blame them.
We expect the government to do everything for us while our contribution is totally nil. We often blame leaders after they have been chosen because we tend to overlook our own role in selecting them. Instead of taking responsibility for our choices, we shift the blame to the leaders themselves. Instead of taking action to create positive change, we often retreat to our comfort zones with our families and wait for someone else to come along and fix the problems. We gaze out at distant lands, expecting a magical solution to arrive, courtesy of a messianic figure waving a wand.
We always look up the pressure around us, without thinking about the solution. We blame the government for unemployment, hikes in prices, non-management wastes, illiteracy, and so many other things. We expect the government to be aware of our problem and expect them to find a solution. My only question to all of you is “Are we really a good Indian Citizen ? “.

Small Action for A Better Nation
Similarly, if we look towards our duty to keep our surroundings clean. We throw away waste materials haphazardly and expect the government to clean up the garbage. There are so many other small things by which we can help our system to be good and reach to satisfactory level. For example, by helping the needy, taking care of the poor people, by paying taxes at the right time we can do our bit. Just like business requires innovation and the ability to respond to change, so do communities and nations. So we must make it grow and work efficiently.
We must question and debate how to improve society and change inefficient or unjust systems. Parents, educators, and leaders can instill patriotism and national commitment in kids and youth. Let’s encourage the youth to take responsibility, lead, and tackle tomorrow’s challenges. Please feel free to write your views/opinions in the comment section.

this is totally depend on individual, we are a good citizen as we all donig nothing for our country, like we donot oppose the ourself for doing wrong to oue copuntry, we buys forign goods instead of indian product, we elect those currupeted politicain to parliament, we do nothing for the poor people for there education and there life, if we are a good indian citizen we shld help those poor people, by educating any of the one,, we are indian and religion are present in our blood, we waste our most of the money in the temples and the other religion plces but avoid to use these money for making a poor man alive, we cant spend these money for madecin for those people if we do some help for these people we can say that YES we are the good citizen of Indian
Ofcourse not,actually the thing is that we dont want to improve ourself but rather than that we blame our systm for evry thing which we don’t like ,but atleast one time we do have to think that this system is made by us.Today’s main issue is Delhi Rape Case, 6 people of delhi done shameful activity with a girl this shows that…..
What can i say further it shows that kind of people we our… 🙁
Actually in my opinion there are many good peoples in India by which we can definitely say that ye we are the good citizens but some people cant represent the country as a good country because the people look or analyse something as a group of or number of people. So according to me there are people present in India with a huge majority of having a thinking of their own profit first then the other thing which is wrong because of your personal reasons we the people are doing or getting involve in many direct or indirect crimes like corruption, providing fake info and doing fake things and all. In India people are actually very selfish regarding their needs they just think about them and them only and not about the thing that by doing all such activities they not only getting ashamed of themselves but also proving their country to not to be a good country. In India thinking of the most people is that they want all thing for them either education is consult or the wealth is consult anything we take the people just think just me me and me not we we and we.

GOOD PEOPLE i.e. INDIAN CITIZEN HAVE TAKEN INDIA TO A PLACE WHERE IT IS TODAY LIKE MAHATMA GANDHI.
ON THE OTHERHAND BAND CITIZEN ARE LIKE THOSE WHO DO THE THINGS LIKE “DELHI RAPE CASE”.
INDIA HAS ALWAYS GIVEN US A LOT MANY THINGS:-
1) IT HAS GIVEN US THE NAME OF BEING INDIAN,
2) TO EXPRESS OUR VIEWS AND RIGHT TO SPEAK,DECIDE AND ETC
3)PROVIDED US WITH MANY FACILITIES
BUT WE BEING AN INDIAN HAS DONE NOTHING FOR IT.WE ALWAYS ASK FROM INDIA BUT ITS THE TIME NOW TO DO FOR IT.WAKE UP INDIANS NOW ITS OUR TURN TO RETURN THE LOVE WHICH OUR INDIA OUR MOTHER LAND HAS GIVEN TO US.
RESPECT OUR INDIA BECAUSE IF WE WILL WONT RESPECT IT THEN HOW OTHERS WILL RESPECT IT????????????/

Nobody is perfect because eveybody has some good qualities as well as bad qualities in it.
everyone wants to change the number of qualities around them which is not liked by others but it depends on the perseptions of other how they are trying to understand our views,thoughts. It is on ones whose primary duty is to give our effort so that other can understand our views.There are several peoples who cheats other also themselves .This shows how cheep and disgusting mentality does he/she has towards other bt these should not b in support to do so and we have to take the action for such cheaters by suggesting into a good beings.
Are we good indiann citizen i would like to give some points to say we are good indian citizen or not .Firstly for a good citizen lots of things are required like a person is serios about his city or country or not ,means most of the we are very busy in pour life so that we don’t have time to to actually think avbout our country therefore we choose government to hold this responsibility but it all government responsibilities to think of a country we are the person who are living in it so wheher safety ,cleaning,coopration to government concern we also have to give our cooperation to this,as far as cleaning is concern we are not even educated people used to dirty places….the ignore the cleaning of city..as far as tourism is concern our environvent is very dangerous for ladied foreigner..and the people who are seeing it does not take any action…….so these are some issues thae which shows our irresponsibilities towards country or nation.

First we should know that what makes a good citizen? citizen should obey the law are we ?respect woman are we? not otherwise delhi rape case never happened.One should respect the authority are we? sometimes we are doing and sometimes not so we should respect them as well. Person should love his country not only love country but people also . We always tell that policians are not doing anything for country so, for what we are wiating let’s start work ….and help everyone because helping people helps counrty to develop…
good and bad is nothing but both are the phases of our personality !! to be a good citizen we should surely raise our voice against corruption !! we have to fulfill our duties , our responsibilities towards our nation.

and in our behavior !! vote properly , follow traffic rules properly – we have to take care of that little responsibilities .

I don’t think that we are a good Indian citizen..
As if we talking about the current incident that is nowadays current affair is delhi rape case. After this incident occur when victim is thrown on the road that time no one is come in front for helping that girl till 1-2 hours this shows that no one want to help these types of victims they thought why should we bother for that particular person.
When each and every one help everyone without any profit that time i thought we become a good citizen.
according to me, we are not a good citizen of our country.we are the one who have created the problem of corruption, rapes , child abuse, dowry system, nobody else is responsible for it so first we should improve ourself than only we can think of the developed india.There are many Indian citizen that do their work to improve the India in a better way. But many people are still unaware or do wrong things which will effect the Indian economics, Indian improvement in any case.
We usally say,we are poud to be Indian but we never realise that what we have done for india to say that we are a good indian citizen.
Not only government but we all make lots of illegal mistakes which contributes to be a big mistake for our own india’s development.We always have complaints that government is not working properly and politicians are highly corrupted but when it comes to us to do something we step back.
So to improve india, we need to improve us at every step of work for development of country.

No, we all are not the good citizens of our country .Some people only serving our country well and some of us don’t care about country that is we don’t want to live for our country but for us . We are so selfish for country ,we can take example of any normal person none of us in a day thinks to do some social work for country .
But what i think is that we should try to do even a single minute to a social work not for our country but for us . today we are in a condition to help those poor people or the person who needs our help but may next time its our turn.
So we aware help those who are in need . we can serve our country in any way not only if we have money ,money is not everything .. Everything is a part of our life not a life so better accept this .
we all are busy in our life because we all are having some responsibilities towards our family but do we don’t have any responsibility toward our country.Youth only have to come ahead and take some strict steps against it .
Form my opinion we are not a good citizen of India because there is many reason behind this.
as we know that the people of a country should represent their country status but we do all those work which are not good for our country.

We are,actually not good enough .We are totally dependent on the system and feel that only the government is the key for all the change in the area.Yes i agree, that we all want the prevailing system to be changed bt do we ever think that untill or unless we dont come forward, and we dont raise voice how can the system gets changed by itself and that too in the positive aspect. We have to learn to fight for out rights, participate in the initiative that brings us the change.As the recent example,Dehi rape case, all of them came out and raised there voice which somewhere or the other is a beep sound for the Indian government, It will definitely take some time but its going to be fruitful.

it is a very tough question for us because we don’t know if we are a good citizen or not .
when we think about it and goes deep into it so a answer may come no we are not a citizen. because we all are doing something for our self only not for nation not for country not for any other else we just do it for our benefits . before time our leaders gave the contribution towards the country but we do not gave any contribution . actually say we donot really a good citizen but some of them try to do something for our country so we can say that they are good citizen but we do not .
Its quite shameful to say this but i don’t think we are good indian citizen. we have a tendency tp blame others but very less concern about our own deeds, we hardly show our responsibilty towards our nation. we use to point the politician for being corrupt but harldy do anything to remove this corruption. people gain education in india and move out to abroad to earn more money, i think its their duty to serve for their own nation rather than become the servant in other country.
WHO gave us all right to decide that whether we are good Indian citizens or not & WHAT basis we are doing so?? It is primarily our thought that we can decide well about ourselves but one thought could have different views may be for some the thought is right while others contradict it. “No one” has right to say whether the other people our good citizens or not if he/she does not abide by all rules & regulations and do all moral obligations in a precised manner himself/herself. It is rightly said that charity begins at home, if one is self disciplined then only he/she could set models for others to follow like we had great example of our father of nation “Mahatma Gandhi”, but even society has not taken back step to blame him or accuse him for not being good for the role which he unwillingly had play in partition of India.So what can we say for a common man.
But yes I do support people who realize that the no. of good citizens are less but I support more the idea of those who suggested how turn others into being good.
NO, We are not true Indians,There may be a few like ANNA HAZARE but the number is very less.Every Day a new SCAM comes into Newspapers and we started blaming the system, Is only the system is responsible.NO it’s not true we are also responsible.W don’t use our VOTE-POWER giving votes to Corrupted person and still think that we are true Indians.We have to change our-self first to change the system because the system is governed by us.We steal ELECTRICITY,TAXES for a small profit of ours but that small profit of us leads to a great loss to the system.When everybody will follow rules then only we are called a true Indian.
We are not good in all as nobody is perfect and everyone has its own good qualities and bad habits in one thing or the other. Everyone wanted to change the number of things around but in my opinion one should change oneself to initiate the change because their is system that run by the people which is not perfect by itself we all together have to made it perfect by following the rules and regulations that are imposed by the government, we have to learn to fight for out rights, participate in the initiative that brings us the change and fulfill the duties of a good citizen. it is a slow process but fruitful as young generation also gets reflected by the same that what their elder are following.
well a matter of fact,we cannot judge ourselves for a reason or a crime,but we can definitely jugde other….
atlough one needs to be very wise for judging others,i would only write my thought on how we can be a good citizen.
see, we are more than a billion people in this country.if i look for my duties and responsibilities,you can do yours, one day we all become a good citizen. if i am good at my part, i can be a good human being.. my country will shine one day.

I think that we are not good citizen because we think only ourselves . We think that system is bad but we forget that this system is made by ourselves. once we start to think about others then this will also good for ourselves. If we are right then rest will also become right.

The citizens of our country has a selfish approach towards the issues relating to the nation,and these are the one’s who possess utmost care when it comes to their own sense as an individual.we are very curious and anxious regarding our cleanliness while we forgot to clean our society and country as a whole.There are countless reason’s which make us a bad citizen.
One more example for this fact can be deduced from a recent incident that happened in Delhi rape case.All over the night the girl was shivering in cold lying naked on the road and there was not even a single resposible person to provide the victim the desired help.
